That isn't even a hyperbolic insult, you're absolutely right. I can just see the Rotten Tomatoes critics being like "Scaramucci is a walking stereotype, terrible performance" or "Trump's America is unconvincing and contrived. The characters are unrelatable and difficult to root for".

Until recently (1 year ago), I NEVER watched TV except to keep myself abreast on current affairs. I really do try to stay informed & listen to both sides of an argument before deciding how I feel/react to a situation.
I really don't care what news organizations 'opinions' are. I can think for myself & with some true research, try to see past the bias.
But, I have to tell you....I am HOOKED on Stephen now.

No. He was vying for a number of different jobs, all of which were blocked. He had sold his company on the expectation he would get what he wanted. One can only imagine his outrage at having the jobs he wanted blocked. The communications director thing apparently was given to him as some sort of compromise or consolation prize.

Really? Because it seems like he’s here to serve the president, at the expense of the country. I mean, he’s so obsessed with praising Trump, it’s genuinely concerning. Ever since his first day he’s been professing his love for Trump and saying Trump was the best at absolutely everything. For example:
“He’s got some of the best political instincts in the world, perhaps in history.”
“I love the president.”
“I’m very, very loyal to the president.”
“He’s the most competitive person I’ve ever met.”
“I’ve seen this guy throw a dead spiral through a tire.”
”I’ve seen him at Madison Square Garden swishing foul shots.”
“He sinks three foot putts.”
“Trump and I are the only fish that don’t stink.”
Although it’s not really surprising. Trump has made it very clear that he demands loyalty above all else, even the truth. And we’ve seen what he does to people he doesn’t deem loyal. James Comey was fired (at least in part) because Trump felt he wasn’t loyal. He attacked Jeff Sessions for being ethical as opposed to being “fair” to Trump. Look at what Trump did to Murkowski, the senator in Alaska, today. She voted against repealing Obamacare. And in response Trump threatened to stop various policies beneficial to Alaskans. This is a man who was willing to harm the lives of Americans if it meant someone was “loyal” to him. He truly is despicable, and it’s no wonder Scaramucci wants to be on his good side. However it’s deeply troubling that he even has to feel that way.
I have never seen a more spineless "yes-man" than Sacramucci and that really is saying something considering the other lemmings occupying the other branches in government. How he even breathes with his lips glued to Trump's ass is baffling.
Well, maybe Trump's ass smell that good. Like bitter almond or apple cider.

This is anecdotal, but all the Trump supporters I know stopped paying attention to the news in the spring. Recent news like what the GOP healthcare plan was or lack of one, Donald Junior's emails with the Russian lawyer, Trump's undisclosed 2nd meeting with Putin and only a Russian translator, or how Trump wants Sessions to resign... all that is either unknown to them or fake news.
Trump has over 80% approval among Republicans. The ones that still follow the news think Trump is doing an incredible job, however any setbacks are because of RINOs and 'obstructionist' Democrats.
