  • I adventured into the neighborhood known as Ulsoor (Halasuru) in Bangalore. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Bangalore, India. I met amazing people and I was blown away by their openness to meet me and show me around.

    The temple Somameshwara Temple, Ulsoor. Centuries old. i think you really missed it going in. i liked that cute boy, guided you very well, than those adult. Lake is good, but recently poor maintained.

    Dude Bangalore is a night city nothing goes on in the day it is also known as Pub Capital of the World go out in the evening around Mg road church street residency road Hard Rock Cafe Boho club pecos pub etc etc etc they have super cool clubs and pubs and nice restaurants and most people speak English in Bangalore so it’s cool have fun🐯

      You can have delicious food in vidyarthi bahavan , Brahmin cafe and south meals..
      People from other states know only Indiranagar , Koramangala and it's like pub city spoiling Bengaluru name with western culture..
      People speak here Kannada not everyone knows English or state language

    If possible visit Iskan temple and try sathvik food . It is a healthy veg food . Evening after 6PM VVpurum food streat food MG Road and Brigade Road

    How the hell do these foreigners always have the knack to reach the most run down areas in in Indian cities and towns.. Bangalore exports almost 100bn dollars of IT export. Is it from this kind of neighbourhoods.

      Some are just designs & some are Sacred.

    Hey Andy. I consume quite a bit of travel vlog content. Came across you recently and appreciate your work. Keep at it. I've noticed some vloggers will use their phones to record indoors where they may not be allowed. I was hoping to see the inside of that fancy mall in your other Blore video. Haha
    PS. Be a little careful when the groups of men loitering randomly try to chat with you. They don't mean well sometimes.

    If you love veg food then try vidyarthi bahavan , nammuru oota Brahmin cafe and south meals.. try bisbelebath
    If you non veg try egg rice and donne biryani famous in Karnataka
    People from other states know only Indiranagar , Koramangala and it's like pub city spoiling Bengaluru name with western culture..

    Most people in Bangalore speak kannada, but since there's a lot of people who have migrated to banglore, you hear all sorts of languages, they speak Hindi to you because you look like you are from the north east.

      There are more floating populations in Bengaluru city who come here and earn money to go to their native places that may be to 20 to 25%
      Sometimes the floating population will be more so that's why people think Bengaluru population Kannadigas are low because they interact with another outsider ..

    1. Bengaluru founder is Kempegowda he built Bengaluru in 15 th century
    2.There is a epigraphy found in begur temple Bengaluru as its name inold Kannada language..
    3.Later Mysuru Wadiyar Kingdom developed Bengaluru by means of education and skills
    Currently ,the people who tells Bengaluru is full of outside people and migration it only because of IT jobs below is answer for them
    Now , 50 - 60 % are from Bengaluru based originally living here and most of professional people settled in USA for job
    But other districts people like Mysuru, Tumkur, North Karnataka who are Kannadigas are in Bengaluru up to 20 -25% people
    other states people who came for jobs and settled here adopted Kannada and Bengaluru culture are 10 -15 %

    Because of huge migration some small percentage Kannadigas also learnt multiple languages but people doesn't mean outsiders think of all are migrants

    If someone choose themselves to go to slums , or poor area to defame, you know what there's something called karma so it's gonna backfire them . Like have you ever seen anybody going to the USA but instead of going to the tourist places s/he goes like under ground/tunnel Las Vegas , homeless and dirty places of newyork, or Chicago's , Washington DC's or Philadelphia's drug zombies or homeless people !? No

      @@sayanmandal1289 First of all, yes I have seen people (Drew Binsky) showing the underground tunnels with homeless population in Las Vegas. Very sad, but great video he made to expose the world to this issue.
      Second, are you saying Ulsoor is the poor area? I’m a bit unclear.
      Third, defame? Please watch the whole video. Ulsoor was amazing, beautiful, and full of incredible people.

      Ulsoor is a great area with a rich culture. It's one of the city's oldest neighbourhoods and its more real than all the new swanky areas. It's a blend of Kannada, Tamil and Urdu identites of Bengalooru.
