Great video buddy, I just installed an B9 S5 Steering wheel to my 2010 B8 S5 and followed your instructions to the point (except for the module, as I wasn't bothered about the multi media buttons). Anyway, when I start the car, I don't have any dash warning signals although the horn sets off on its own during the ignition. Then it stops, but i get nothing when I press the horn on the wheel. Any advice?

do the next/previous song buttons work? its a feature on the B9 but not on the B8 so i was wondering? I think you push the volume scroll wheel to the sides to use them?
hi there , i have this same issue, glad i found the vid - what's the purpose of the additional harness, it's three wires in and the same three wires out, is it not just an extension cord? what does it do?
Hey! The little harness is made to convert from b9 to b8 wiring to let the buttons work.

So looking back I see what you’re saying! I didn’t show the plugging in of the yellow connector. It actually just plugs in to the factory clock spring as usual after all the wires are re pinned as shown in the begging. 👍🏼

Hey what’s up Leo, I bought the wheel from a part out on FB marketplace and the bag on eBay. Sometimes you can get the full package from a seller on EBay.

@@leogutestierna3220 Anytime! The bag was around $300-350 (eBay) The wheel I got lucky on bought from a part out for $275 + Shipping. I’ve seen packaged deals on eBay for 700-900
If I don’t want to play the buttons . Is the airbag plug and play for b8?
I would say no, the re pinning of the yellow connector would be good to do that way you know the air bag will work and deploy. To be safe I would do both to prevent any dash lights, bad explosions and safety

What has to be done if i dont have buttons stock? Do i have to use all the connectors, or can i just buy a new airbag?
Or can i use buttons if i get a b9 steering wheel with buttons + harness?
the air bag you need will need to match your new steering wheel, i would connect everything as per the video to make sure the bag works with no codes, i would also contact the seller with the jumper harness, he has responded in the comments below.
