no multiple screens and no passthrough is what's holding this app back. The first app developers to make an app with those will become instantly rich.
look for immersed
there is a passthrough environment, the screens you can switch between. get it, its 100 percent worth the money for gaming wirelessly. its an awesome thing i shouldve got a year ago

Awesome Video. I have Virtual Desktop also, but rarely use it because I find it limited with only 1 screen. I had no idea that we had the option to alter the size and placement of the monitor. Looking forward to more videos 👍

I honestly didn't know about the resizing until I started doing more research for the video.
Before that I had either used it in an environment or used it to stream VR games from my PC.
@@eevnosvrso there is no option for more then one monitor in virtual desktop?
if you push a or b on controller, your second screen will appear. You may have them as much as your computer has, also you may use vd from steam vr, double to pico 4 vd, and you will have also multiple screens in horisontal area. The quality of stream vr virtual desktop is much more better than vd from pico 4 store. For about 40%. I don't know why it is so, is only fact
I am a photographer and travel often and need to access my home computer to handle files and work in Lightroom and Photoshop. I open virtual desktop and get work done. I bought a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I couldn't believe Virtual Desktop worked remotely.
The one display and no keyboard passthrough make this a non-starter for me. I have both of those with Horizon Desktop and with Immersed VR. Immersed Vr has it's own issues in my opinion, but it is a very powerful option.
There is passthru and you can swap between displays. I play a sim called DCS and this app is the only one that will play it with quest 3.
Where can we download new enviroment themes?
I have a question. when I use it. I only want to use my real keyboard and mouse, but it always either track my hand or my controller. How can I disable those? Thanks.
I like vSpatial. The only thing I don't like about is that you can't change environments.
How do I pin windows? out of the desktop?
hi sir, i purchased quest 3 recently but unable to transfer files from pc to quest 3. i saw many videos but they are very confusing. does virtual desktop for quest 3 allows to transfer files from pc to quest 3 ?

I have a video coming up on Immersed and another on Meta Workrooms, both of those have a good passthrough and / or keyboard tracking (depending on the headset).

For productivity, sadly, this is the best software to bring your PC into VR. It looks cool, it's pretty expensive for what it offers tho (20 Euros in Italy), with only one monitor and very confused ways to put or create more environments. I find it very limited and I am still finding a better solution for productivity. I indeed asked for a refund.
Immersed looks cool too, but it's less optimized and stopped working on my Quest 1. It was all I can afford sadly

I wouldn't say 100%. Not that for productivity since most jobs will require at least 2-3 monitors to work comfortably. Developers said it's a feature coming soon, but to be honest, it's cooking for quite long time
@@arisynily1882 yes you cant look at 3 monitors at the same time but you can switch between them, which obviously isnt as good but for wirelessly gaming and for using the performance upgrades they offer in the settings, virtual desktop is 100 percent worth the money as long as your internet is good, i dont have an ethernet cord in my pc and i stream over wifi and im getting 866 mbps and gaming is smooth wiht little to no performance drops or latrency througout playing. also using the quests processor to make pc games more playable, its a no brainer, and as far as i know, virtual desktop is the only option that allows you to use both computer and quest gpu to make the final gameplay even better
Evven with the limitation of 1 screen, this is the best app to work in VR so far. The response is amazing, everything is plug and play. Even advanced audio set ups can be use. U can use a virtual keyboard is a musst have !!! Immerse dont hv that if u dont want to use a keyboard ... No Immerse. The rooms are the best on the market soooo far. Virtual desktop is the only app with good enviroments. I musst cry becouse of the single screen. I hope they will add it. I will pay for that. But in comparson to usability user friendly and when u want to work with audio ... this is ur go to app. The price is also fair. I love virtual desktop. Meta workrooms dont work on my quest 2 now and Immersed is a horror app. When u work with media and audio Immerse is a lot of work to get it work. No plug and play.
I can write for hours here. Im in audio Produktion and its a big thing to work in VR without distraktion. Virtual desktop needs more screens !!!!!!

just why would you even want to do this?
Yeah, with virtual desktop there is not a whole lot of benefit, but working in something like Immersed is extremely productive. To the point where I find it more difficult work IRL than VR now.

pc gaming is 10 x easier with this app and it has tools to make pc gaming more optimized so its definitely worrh it
😂😂😂 the keyboard shouldnt be a con, if you are using a keyboard, you Should know the keys without looking.
sounds like you need more practice on typing without looking.
