Cause Arctis Nova pro have some problems with in-built mic (it placed inside cups, and it pushes on ears in case of long sessions, so it is uncomfortable)
i bought a arctis 7p and i have to give it back because it make sound lags and when im ingame it freeze for 2s :/

i feel massive discomfort using the arctis, not sure if its the distribution of weight of having a battery on one side, the fact that theres a lot of metal on the unit, or just how tight the band squeezes but after around 2-3 hrs my head would feel so much pain being squeezed for prolonged periods

I cant comment on other headphones but after purchasing the hyper x alpha 3 wireless, my positive is the battery is still at 40% since purchase in mid december without charging, but i need to take out and plug in the usb dongle at every boot so the software recognises it.

I had to return the Hyper X Alphas today. For some reason they constantly crackle and pop. For the price, you don't expect that.

im on my 3rd blackshark v2pro atm..all of them same problem after some months of use ..right speaker not working full volume..i can get both to work only when im setting the volume to like 50% ..previous blackshark same issue after a while..still great headset though.

Just want to say the a30s have a known issue where if you have it connected to PC via dongle and the via Bluetooth to your phone so you can use the g app, the mic is extremely quiet.

I got the blackshark v2 pro and after a couple months of use the chargers started falling out while the headset's inuse. Really annoying.
The mic test would work a lot better for me if I heard the man speak through it, since I've heard his voice through the normal mic. I don't have a point of comparison for her, since I don't know what she normally sounds like. I can't tell if she normally sounds kinda stuffy/ muffled, or if the mics are doing it. No insult intended.
What about the Logitech G435? Do you think its a good option for a person who only cares about comfort?
I own an Eksa E900 Pro for about 3 years, finally bought G435 for the wireless connectivity and comfort, unboxed it, tested it. Returned it hahahahaha. Not a suitable headphone for people with big heads. And the audio sucks, mic sucks. Always has that buzzing sound when there's too many sounds input and from my experience, while playing Dota, there will be a major buzzing/robotic sound when war. There's workaround I've found on reddit, it just makes the sound worst (filtering low frequency thus less bass), but the buzzing is reduced. So back to Eksa until I find a better wireless headphone.

One thing,on the final mic test in this video she put a pop filter on the mic that is not with the headset from purchase,so you are not showing the bad noises that most if not all Steel series headsets suffer from with a crap mic.

I really wish the nova pros had the ability to change the balance between gaming and chat on the headset like the 9x. Kinda surprised I haven’t heard anyone else mention this… Other than that I’m loving my pros. Completely blown away at how much better I’m able to locate footsteps and other sounds on fps games.

Is it possible to connect these headphones over a 3.5mm jack cable, is there an output on the base station to connect them that way?
The second thing is that in the parameters it is stated that the sound quality improves with such a connection . I wanted to know if this is actually the case?

I have these. Amazing headphones, and better than my old Astro a50s overall. But the a50s are more comfortable because these headphones have an anc mic nub sticking out of the inside and after wearing the headset for around 1-2hrs the cushions will compress and your ear will be rubbing against that plastic anc nub in the earcup. To solve this. Grab a pair of wicked cushions frozen and this headset becomes a masterpiece.

I had Artics Nova Pros. I do not particularly like them. They are not nearly as comfortable as something like Razer Blackshark
got the blackshark for christmas im gonna say its an absolute UTTER downgrade from the earlier iteration of the headset
sounds super flat because of the lack of bass but because of that its not immersive and its arguably HARDER to hear where sounds are coming compared to the pre upgrade headset
its less comfortable aswell it causes me almost the same headache my oculus vr headset causes me over long wear times which if you own one you know thats HORRENDOUS for a headset
theres also A CONSTANT CRACKLING noise whenever sound plays coming from the inside of the headset (this is not a connection issue or bluetooth or whatever its literally the stuff inside of the headset that makes the sound itself i also did not damage it or anything like that it was like that straight out of the box) if youre considering buying anything razer at this point please keep in mind their quality control nowadays its absolutely garbage and headache inducing the only good thing i can say about this headset is that the mic is very clear
My Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 Edition headset broke after about 9 months of use. Right ear cup broke off. No rough usage, just normal taking it off and putting it on. I've read it's a pretty common issue.
I guess it is pretty common lol. Just happened to me yesterday. They lasted 5-6 months. Never dropped them or anything just normal putting them on and taking them off…. Randomly my left side ear cup just burst into pieces lol
Logitech is amazing. I would like to see the aluminum earcups and removable battery. The removable battery is a killer.

Came here to look for another headset, The razer one is uncomfortable af imo.
It is always sliding too far open! The max volume is too quiet to be its max altough it sounds good and mic is alright.
Sadly mainly came for nr1, Ive had 2 of those and they broke twice at the same right earcup where they connect to the headband frame.
Did you use the blue yeti mic on the g pros? Sounds like you didn’t activate that.

I once bought a pair of the nova pro, it’s really not all that good and the quality is subpar. Also the ear muffs are very uncomfortable

I wouldnt worry about steel series headset being bad. I have the arctic 7 pro wireless from 2020 and battery is still the same when I got it. Nothing wrong with it after 4 years of ALLOTTT of playing.

Dont get me wrong I loved the hyperX Cloud Alphas but after a long time use I've come to say that its my least favorite headset, from the headphone fabric slowing coming off which leaves small black bits around, or or even in the ears. Plugged it in after using it for a family vacation and it was working and stopped working entirely in one ear, over all it sounded nice but would've perfered a better headset

It’s a pity that arctis still implements a retractable mic on his high end headset, i have the old version and i used it A LOT: i destroyed cushins and replaced them, batteries died and i replaced them, headband was a bit loose and i could tighten it, but it’s also replaceable, but the mic’s flexible tube started to crack and patching it made non retractable anymore. The shoul’ve really opt for a detachable mic.

It’s the headset I’ve used for the past 2-3 years and it’s amazing. I upgraded to the Nova Pro wireless today and compared the sounds, and they are actually pretty comparable

I got the Nova Pro Wireless and It just stopped charging entirely yesterday after only having them a week, I hope it was just a faulty pair bec I'm gonna try them again when they get back in stock at my currys pc world on wednesday..

Did it stop charging on the actual headset where you plug it in the outside of the ear cup, or stop charging in the Game DAC?
I see there are two ways to charge, one by taking the plate off the outer ear cup and plugging the cord in.
The second way is to slide the battery in the slot in the side of the game DAC.
How can you say you like them? The back ground noise is too much.
Steelseries build quality is pretty awful though. I've owned 2 headsets and a mouse of theirs and they all had build quality issues one way or another. I came to this video because my Arctis Pro just literally broke and trying to find a new headset lol.

Stay away from the Razer BlackShark V2 Pros. They all break by the cheap plastic holding the bottom of the headband by the earcup. It’s happening very often to many users… mine lasted 5 months
I’m looking out for a good wireless headset and yea mic could be important for me and I’ve seen all the bad comments (on internet) about the pros but none about the hyperspeed, the yokes are thinner but maybe the rest have better build quality ?

The cloud alpha is not worth it. Not overly comfortable, and they have a tendency to just stop working. Went through 2 of them, and had an awful experience with HyperX’s customer service as well.

i have 2 choices its either pay 200 for a brand new pair of razer blacksharks or i have found a lighlty used pair of arctis nova pro wireless for 190 im so unsure on what to go with
razer has went downhill id suggest looking at the subreddit or even on site forums
mines sounds like garbage very flat sound profile and theres also a prominent crackling noise coming from the headset when sound is playing

I have artic nova pro wireless, until now i can't believe i spent alot money on gaming headset lol. For me this headset is fine but the price still expensive.. why? Stupid anc its like gimmick for marketing, sometime wireless get disconnect and i need to turn off my headset but after turn on it back my headset never get dc again. Sound? I have try cloud alpha s and g pro x, g pro x much better in bass music but u still can edit nova pro sound with sonar..if u focus in gaming and music just don't buy hyper x headset.. g pro x and nova pro more worth it. But still nothing special to explain about nova pro sound..
Penrose, maxwell and turtle beach stealth pro are all better than these by my opinion.

The fact that the turtle beach stealth pros (only for FPS gaming) and more specifically the Audeze Maxwells didn't make this list is unbelievable to me. Do better research next time.

Took the entire video with a grain of salt with you putting Arctis Nova at #1.
I did try those earlier and they're horrible. With that I mean very uncomfortable on
the ears, very hot on the ears and not even that impressive sound/mic quality.
DO NOT but the blacksharkv2 pro 2023. Worked great for a month and then sounds starts stuttering then it just dies at 100%
