    Beautiful work, and very inspiring! Just curious…do you quench in methylated spirits or water?

    What did you use at the end in your micro motor to get such a shiny polish on the links?

    You don't need the background music. We appreciate all the natural sounds and aesthetics from your work.

    Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Should you decide to share your technique for getting even twists in the early stages of twisting the metal, I'll be listening! Thanks again! Happy Holidays to you.

    Interesteting how it winds, and then unwinds in the double twist.

    I really like how this turns out. Adding the facets is brilliant! Could you use the rolling mill to flatten?

    • @arshadjewelleryworkshop4473
      @arshadjewelleryworkshop4473  Před 2 lety

      Rolling mill is not involved in either step.

      @@arshadjewelleryworkshop4473 I have two half rounds on my mill that could be used but I do like the swage block and hammer also.

    didn't see any clean up of the solder seam. did the pattern match?

    • @fantastiqueberliotz1209
      @fantastiqueberliotz1209 Před 2 lety +1

      I was wondering about that myself. You could clearly see the seam. In addition, there appears to be a tiny sliver of metal jutting out at an angle at the seam.

  • @Makermook
    @Makermook Před 2 lety +1

    That is beautifully done. Did you use solder to join the ends or did you fuse them using a small piece of 24k gold?

  • @lmbgemstonesandgifts8789

    Oh my that’s amazing 🤩 what did you brush it with at the end ? And what did you do to it at the end with that tool and putty to make just the middle so shiny ! It’s a fabulously beautiful ring ❤

    Why don't you apply flux when you look at the connections? What was the last tool that was polished very brightly?

    Would you sell gold wire ?

  • @mariannejennings4671
    @mariannejennings4671 Před 2 lety

    How long is the piece of wire you use to start off with? And what size ring on the mandrel do you make with it. I’m trying to get a sense of the amount of wire you need for say a size 7 ring? Thanks very much.
