Dive into a well
Well is located in the center of the small village in the Geothermal Valley (the nearest base camp is Valley Farmstead). Check the video above to find the exact location of the roof you have to use. Jump forward and as soon as you are in the air press LT to do a dive animation. Good timing is the key so it will probably take you a couple of tries. If you don't have a rope yet, use boxes to get on the roof.
For anybody playing on PC: The button you press to "swan" dive is (deafult) left mouse button, the same button you use to dive underwater. And also, you do not need the grappling hook to get up on the roof, there is a small wooden house right next to the big house you jump from, and you can get on on that small house if you jump on the backside, and from there you can jump to the big house and jump from there, just like in the video.
i'm so done with trying to get this lol, every attempt is either a normal fall or Lara crosses her arms. For something that should be so easy it's kind of dodgy, i tap LT and she still won't swan dive

Do you need a skill or perk to do this? Man, I have tried this 50 times from the roof and the building next to the well. No dice. She just won't do it no matter how well I time it. LT doesn't do anything. Tapping A again doesn't do anything either. all she does go into this hug technique thing though. You know, where you just drop straight down with your body wrapped real tight like laying in a coffin.
+mightybmoney1 I don't think there is a single perk that has anything to do with the swan dive. Maybe try using B button instead of LT. If you are too late, she will do that other animation.
+onlinecenter.pl Finally got it. I think this action is more difficult than it should be. I'm getting better at it, but still can't get it every time. 1 last question. How do you get to the last platform by the waterfall? It's blocked off. Do you have to progress with the story more or what?

+Edson Holloway No, you just need to get the timing right. Jump and press LT or B. Try jumping to the river near waterfall for practice.
