I'm 66 yo. Shrinking plastic was a thing when I was a kid. The plastic used was the top of a chicken liver container. 😬 The heat source of course was the oven.

So cute Corrine. Christmas was misspelled on the printed note, I dont know if u noticed that or not. Im 45 but I really dont remember shrinky dinks. Corrine the Original Shrinky Dinks were part my generation (kids growing up in the late sixties, early seventies). 😂😂😂 They were reintroduced to you and my daughter's generation of the late 80's through the 90's. Shrinky Dinks are OLD SCHOOL! 😎😍😍😍

I grew up in the late 70s and early 80s, and we definitely had shrinky dinks then too, because I made stuff with them as a kid, too :)

My cricut can’t read the registration marks so I’ve wasted an entire pack of shrink film trying to figure it out. So frustrating 😢 Do you have a tips for this error?
Make sure you have calibrated the machine recently and then all the normal stuff like turning off lights, turning on lights, also you shouldn’t have wasted a whole pack if it’s not reading the lines. Print one sheet and if it’s truly not reading the lines it won’t cut so your sheet isn’t wasted you just try again with the same sheet until you get it to cut

No the heat the laser printer produces will damage it
I cut on acetate and it worked fine..... my ink smears off when i print to cut though
Sounds like your printer is releasing too much ink. You may need to play with your printer settings
Why does sometimes the cricket light is lit up and I can re-cut and other times it is dark and I can not re-cut.
If you unload your mat it won’t light up until you reload but otherwise sounds like a cricut issue if you haven’t unloaded the mat so you would need to reach out to them
I tried this with my Ecotank . It did fine the first time but now only prints half page. It only happens with the shrinky sheets. It prints good on copy paper, printable vinyl etc. anybody has good experiences with other printer brands ? Considering get another printer just for this or may be the shrink film brand? Because it only happens when I try to print on shrink film.
Have you tried changing the paper setting or taping a black sheet of paper to it

@@juanitavalderrama they that. Your printer likely isn’t able to “see” the clear sheet so it thinks there is nothing there so it stops printing
@@CorinneBlackstone thanks 😊 it’s a frosted shrink sheet but the black sheet might do the trick

joining is not the problem. the capatcha is - it just will not stop asking me to prove I'm human so it is STOPPING me from joining
@@dragonlord0666 I am in communication with the developer to see what the issue is
the developer will, most likely, say it is because of a vpn and it should be switched off. capatcha seems to care not for customer security but if they are not willing to fix their software then they are loosing people customers.
