Why go to all that trouble when there is likely a wilted piece of lettuce around or a blade of grass that can rake a master lock open? Worse case in high school we hit the base of the shackle with the sole of a tennis shoe, they tend to pop open, and swap people’s locker locks.

There are some awful Chinese padlocks with plastic bibles (or at least some sort of white plastic liner)
So moderate amounts of heat would work, but I suspect it would take more than a couple of matches heads to do so
If you recommend one we'll try it.
Instead of using time fuse, wrap that lock up with a few layers of det cord around it (while putting a giant pressure knot at the end) and see what happens. 🤔
By what mechanism would that work?

Works about as good as your American bypass driver and all your other crappy tools.
Bullshit. Period. Not practical in any real scenario. We want a covert entry. If you want to destroy the lock use a cutter or a grinder. Will it open? Maybe by burning the springs but why not use TNT or Dynamite? Black powder?
