The best lessons are almost always taught through tragedy. Some never learn and choose to live in suffering, but know subconsciously, the inner voice that's screaming out at you when you make wrong decisions, stay in the wrong place for too long, and let too much time pass ultimately gets quieter and quieter until they find themselves living like that until the bitter end.

You DO KNOW Jesus said this, right?
This is not something "Charles Manson" came up with.
What do you think it means to be away with the old self amd put on the new self.
      Go to war with yourself.
      DISCIPLINE
"If the seed does not die, it yields no fruit."
If a member of your body causes you to sin, CUT IT OFF. It is better for you to be without an arm leg or eye than to be whole amd burn in hell for eternity."
"Pick up your cross & follow me."
All of this meaning to condemn your vices & earthly passions of the body in submission of your spiritual self.
      To DIE EVERYDAY!
If you do as you wish & allow your bodily passions to take over you,
      (ex: the 7 deadly sins)
You are not free in your excesses to do as you wish, but you become a SLAVE to the BODY & its desires.
I doubt "Charles Bronson" meant actually cutting off your leg...but then again its Charlie Bronson.

I'm happy for you and what a way to elevate yourself in order to ascend above and beyond your hindrances and people who never deserved you to begin with. I can relate mate!! They did not love or appreciate you unconditionally. You were loved and sought for when the conditions were right and convenient for them. There's no love greater than self-love, no loyalty greater than self-loyalty, no commitment greater than self-comittment, no help greater than self-help, no attention greater than attention to oneself!! I had a similar experience which almost led to me having an emotional breakdown. Admittedly, I was emotionally distraught and weary because of it. However, I rebounded in less than one month because it does require time to heal whether emotionally, mentally, or physically as you know....... I do not have children and have never been married. I WAS a benefactor to 5 of my brother's children for 5 years and sadly, I conditioned them to look to me for their wants and needs. My brother has a total of 7 children and never wanted to do anything for them; yes, and he's narcissistic, spoiled, and belligerent with an entitled mentality. I also cut the majority of family members off as well because they have a "do good, but not better than me" mentality. They were liabilities, not assets. Since I cut them off, I became happier than I were and my level of peace and self-appreciation ascended to the highest level I have ever experienced. I'm unburdened and chose to be divinely selfish because it is necessary. Remember: 1. relationships are based on reciprocity, not expectation 2. One cannot pour from an empty cup!! Amen! Great call Mr. Burnett! Tom Hardy was the perfect choice for this film! He fn bought in fully committed to his performance and literally became Charles Bronson!!! But learning all the shit that Charlie went through, so many of us would’ve never known if not for Mr. Hardy. And it’s so not surprising that Charlie and Tom were super tight, easily seen through how perfectly and effortlessly Tom channeled Charlie! He introduced us to Mr Bronson who in turn introduced us to a fd up corrections system, madness, and a man brutally honest struggle against both…Sorry for babbling on brother, but yes you are totally bang on correct about how everyone should treat themselves to the movie Bronson for any of a million reasons that’ll make their lives better, and Thank You for putting it out there for all to see and benefit from!

    • @TheStalvikingr
      @TheStalvikingr Před 5 měsíci +17

Yes indeed he is talking about Michael G Peterson, nicknamed Charles Bronson, like the famous actor. But Michael Peterson was also nicknamed "the most dangerous prisonner of the United Kingdom", and was infamous because of all his crazy escaping plans and ostages taking situations in prison.
The movie Kraftwerk2k6 is referencing isn't a Charles Bronson movie, but a movie narrating Michael's life, featuring Tom Hardy as him. The movie is named "Bronson" and is a real masterpiece (in my modest opinion) and Tom Hardy was fantastic in his acting and replicating of Bronson demeanor, accent and even physic. And this is why (if you asked yourself) an inmate of one of the United Kingdom high security prison has Tom Hardy's private number and talks with him nonchalantly, in a friendly manner even, because for the filming of this movie Hardy spent a lot of time interacting with Bronson, to be able to portray him more accuratly and in the end the both of them kept in contact because (as he says it himself) Tom grew quite fond of Michael and stayed in contact with him after the filming of the movie "Bronson" ended.
Also, as a little side note, Michael Peterson who's kinda intro fitness and fighting and all that, wrote a Book about fitness, and how to get in shape inside a tiny prison cell like he was in, and even smaller when he was in solitary (which was often the case). Can't remember the title of the book tho, but I can try finding it if one of you is actualy interested in it.
Hope this comment clarified the little misundestanding between kraftwerk2k6 and franckserpico6785 ^^

I battled cancer a little over a year ago and even when times seemed dark and felt like I wasn't gonna make it the words "cut it off now" kept ringing though my head and made me fight cause I wasn't gonna give up because I know my family needs me. I'm happy to say I'm in remission and heading to a cured diagnosis and my wife and I are expecting our 3rd child. I had things I was fighting for that I didn't even know were going to happen. Although I didn't come out unscathed I'm going to live a long life because I will always fight to never let the water get to high before I say cut it off. I remember that day. It's the day I almost drowned, AND then almost died of hypothermia. That poor lad was in the water 4 hours, and they WERE gonna cut his foot off, but hypothermia got him first. I remember cos I was either in the water or soaked to the skin for the same amount of time. I'm only alive cos of a combination of someone somehow seeing me in the dark on cctv, an RAF Rescue Sea King that air lifted me 25 yards out of immediate danger, a fire engine and its crew that gave me hope by trying to save me as they waited for the RAF, a wise old copper that stopped me leaving the scene with a hypothermic death sentence that was on its way, unbeknownst to me, and an ambulance and its brilliant crew that he made me wait for, that rushed me to hospital. I love the message here, but a man died, and HIS story should be told, not mine, not bronson, and not Tom Hardys.

Keep faith Brother, in whatever it is you believe in…you are grieving a terrible loss my friend. But The pain is a sign that you are healing. Do not force it, or rush it. And do not be hard on yourself. Each day without realising, you will get stronger.. The pain, as brutal as it is, will subside bit by bit, each day, week, month…until one day you will wake looking forward to something happening that day that brings you joy and positivity…instead of reflecting back on this.
There is a day coming, which will be THAT day…and beyond that you will live and love and be happy again and this will be a distant memory, not one to forget, but one to embrace as part of a life experience lived, and one that allows us to appreciate the good times in life, and the good people we have around us. Because without the bad times, the good times wouldn’t be anywhere near as fuckin glorious.
      🤜🤛
I speak having lived this multiple times over, and just wanted to offer up a little bit of help to a fallen Brother.

Sometimes you suffer so badly from the loss that you cannot grow from a loss that makes the decision you made to cut it off the worst in your life. The shallowness of people really shows up when you become vulnerable.
