Ok I'm probably wrong as no one has mentioned this but I've looked at your chain chart and every one is out by a few sts.....is this correct.....eg: newborn 12 & 12 for the front...21 for the back and 15 & 15 for the sleeves, you say 71 and I've added it up to 75.......am I doing something wrong???

I am preparing the same jacket for my 4 years daughter, but have a doubt and am stuck.
I have joined the sleeves first line as shown by you. However I am not sure about the second line. In the second line we are making group of 3 dc in the V but when we reach to the corner of sleeves do we have to add 2 chains? Or how we should proceed ?
Please guide to proceed further

You have to measure the neck contour where you want the neckline to go. Because it depends on the thread you are going to use. It is always better to measure. But I think that a 30 centimeter neck is good for that age. If you want it with more neckline about 35 centimeters

It says to start with 3 chains which it the first stitch and then 11 stitches which makes it 12 stitches but at the end you end up with only 11 stitches.
When I then start with the next row I have to skip 4 stitches to reach the corner.
What am I doing wrong,please.

Hi! I think we’ve got 12 when we calculate the increase at the corner. When you do it the way Majovel says you will get the correct amount of stitches.

Hallo, ich hab ein Problem. Die Jacke passt überall perfekt, nur beim Halsausschnitt ist sie zu groß. Hängt sehr, nur bei einem Kind, die anderen sitzen perfekt. Hab sie Jacke bestimmt 10x schon gemacht. Kann man mir da helfen? Vielleicht sollte ich die Abschlußborte enger und mit weniger Maschen häkeln. Bitte um Hilfe. Danke euch
