Dear Majovel, I would love to make this jacket for my nephew who is coming in September, but I am struggling. After you make the first 9 double crochet you make the 2 chains, than another double crochet into the same 9. stitch. This stitch does it already count as the first stitch of the 14 you need for the armhole? I have tried 3 times now. Hi, how many DC in the first round, if I do the smallest size? Chain 60+3 as foundation, but then? When I split out number of DC I get 8+14+17+14+7=60, so only 7 DC in the last front part, or do I decrease the back part to 16? Thanks in advance :)

21 back 17+ 17 sleeve + 9 and 9 front . They have to be odd
Can also do 23 back . 19+19 sleeves + 11 and 11 front
It would be a few more stitches.

Same thing happening with me if i start with 65 n use extra 3 chns of 1st round .. I want to know how many dcs we should have at the end of row 1.
