INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PREPARE USB DRIVE FOR PS5 SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
1. Format a USB drive (can be ordered from fasttechstore.com) to exFAT or FAT32
2. Create a folder in the drive titled 'PS5'
3. Created a folder in the PS5 folder titled 'UPDATE'
4. Copy the downloaded file from above link into the UPDATE folder
5. Follow the onscreen instructions

For me I have a new one it’s for the storage I need help with my ssd since it wasn’t showing once I installed it and it works good I put it on my pc can you help me out

I have a problem with the PS5, it didn't work, repaired the power supply and it still didn't turn on, I found a problem with the southbridge, I replaced it, the console turns on and everything works normally but I can't update it. I am getting error SU-101337-5. I tried everything from safe mode, update via internet and via USB but it doesn't work. I did under 6. Reset PS5 but it didn't help. I also tried under 7. Reset PS5 via USB but I didn't succeed. I keep coming back to "can't complete update".
Try replacing the soldered on SSD

Greetings , please I really need your help I was updating my software because there was an available software and It just gave me an error after restarting and went straight to safe mode and It won't get out and instead of having 7 options I'm getting 8 options I don't know if that's good or bad and I tried installing software using usb and it says the update file is corrupted, please help I just bought this ps5 3 months ago.
Make sure you downloaded the full update file from the description box and not partial update file

New PS5 bought 3 days ago and stuck in the safe mode with the 8 options, after i did the update system software at the very beginnig .
I tried several times option 4 (the update), but nothing.... i receive always the error : The file is corrupted.
I tried some of the other options like 5 6 3 etc...except of the last 2 options which i do not want to touch ( because i can not download the file on a usb stick ).
Everytime when these procedures from the other options are finishing, it kicks me out to the main menu of the smart tv and a warning appears : check the energy supply of your device....
I went back to the store and i gave back the console because i thought that it is defect.
They gave me an other brand new ps5 console.
I still facing the same problems.
I use a Lan cable for the connection
i even called my internet provider to open for me some TCP Ports and UDP Ports ....that was the suggestion from the call center of play station....
Your internal SSD is done but this requires removing the soldered on module and replace it with a working one.
@@fasttechvideo so you are saying that the problem comes from the ps5 console again ? It is the second console in a week that I took and they both did not work .
An other guy told me that perhaps the problem is the router/modem and that I should install an internet box 6

What if you come out of safe mode by resetting it but when you update it go’s back into safe mode
Could be a bad internal SSD which is unfortunately soldered on

@@fasttechvideo so my ps5 went into safe mode a I didn't put it into safe mode I don't think. It will only let me choose option 7. On the playstation site it says I have to use mac or pc is that true?
@@Raqs2Krazy you have to use a pc and your usb needs to be fat32 or exfat.

So ps5 is a pain to own just a ps4....i thinking it's better to buy a Xbox because it doesn't come with a headache attached to a ravenous price tag either
