Thank You for your video! We have the same dishwasher since November 2017 from “Lowe’s”, and we started noticing some problems with the pet’s bowls not coming out clean now in November of 2022, so it has been 5 years. We thought that we have that 10 years of Warranty like it says on that label, and additionally we did purchase the 3 years Extended Protection Plan, which now is not helping any as we were told on the phone. They did recommend us purchasing another Extended Warranty now, but at “ Lowe’s” they refused to sell us an additional Warranty, and would not send anybody to service it. “Lowe’s” recommended to find a place in town where they service “ MayTag” to determine what the problem is. We have not done that yet. May I ask you several questions? 1) Can the dishwasher be damaged if using a dish soap like “Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day” instead of “Cascade” dishwasher pods? 2) I found some strange porcelain pieces broken-off from something glossy, but don’t see any damaged dishes coming out of the dishwasher. What should we do? Thank You!
This is my dishwasher I had 5 year warranty had repair people out 4 times because my spray armed are always getting crap in them. Well I watched a few videos and found one that shows the sump adapter, and it’s got this little rubber flapper that was broken. None of the repair guys ever took this part out to inspect. I ordered a new one and in the meantime I glued it back on and it’s works.
@@redsealjourneymanreviews6647 My experience with LG has been that while they respond to service requests. Their service ability wildly differs by product and region. The products are also the most prone to break down and have serious issues. All the brands i've used, TVs, sound systems, Chromecast devices, refrigerators. My Maytag dual power cutting dishwasher from Costco was installed 10 minutes before I washed your video. But I'm glad that I bought the extended warranty of 3 years with it for a total of 6 years support.
I had more issues out of this dishwasher than you can imagine I hate this dishwasher and the chopper is in the motor they do this to force you to buy a new unit.
Hi from Texas. I was hoping to learn what caused you to look for an issue. Dirty dishes, draining or noise? I've had this exact model for 5 or so years w/o issue but this week it sounds like a neighbor is weed wacking. I'm thinking, impeller, bearings or motor. I never thought about the chopper blade. It's silent with initial fill & drain but I have noise during the cycle. I broke it down to the motor cover plate and found years of gross. Was hoping the deep clean would work. (Nope) I'd appreciate your thoughts. PS: My last house...Bosch w/top door hidden controls & I too, never use heat dry. That machine was perfect. I can't believe this Maytag has lasted this long given the archeological dig I just performed! Any advice would be great. If I have to buy a new one, I may as well learn the mechanics on this one.
@@leehart7796 the tell tale was the arms blocking with food, that means bad chopper screen . Dirty dishes Tip of day run a vinegar cycle once a week minimum
I had a Maytag I purchased at Lowes around 2k. What a piece of crap. I owned it three years then threw it in the trash. I purchased a "|bottom of the line" Sears Kenmore on Black Friday for $169 delivered to the door.. It is ten years old. It runs every day and I have never done anything as far as maintenance. Did I mention Maytag dishwashers really suck? quality has nothing to do with price. Keep it simple stupid. .

Bought a new dishwasher with screen and filter way better
Maytag would not warranty without paying an inspection . Lame
Did they ever resolve this for you or did they not care?
LG resolved it when I bought a new one. Lol. Worse company ever. Boomers are wrong about Maytag it’s junk!
Is the servicing / labor covered? Or just the part?
Pay for service
Free parts
@@redsealjourneymanreviews6647 That should be unacceptable and it should have included labor as well.
@@AnanyaGupta Maytag is the worst LG replied instantly on what’s app when I had issues and sent free parts express

Cool bud do a video!
Who in the world can pull their dishwasher out from the wall once it's installed.
Me it’s not
Bolted down
I have the best dishwasher ever built. It's called two hands and hot soapy water! Never a breakdown or issue.
Good call bro
