Sade! She's just magical, cool and gorgeous! She has always stood out as an artist because she's so laid back cool. Doesn't get involved in outside drama or scandals.
You do know she started out modeling and designing clothes and she only sang to make ends to meet until she met her band who were looking for a singer after their original singer quit.
Sade by her own admission wasn't looking to be a music star. She only sang when she had no modeling jobs lined up.

I read an article in the early 90s about how some critics didn't think Sade could pull off a concert tour because she seemed too stiff and needed to get out from behind the microphone. Well, she sure showed them. Classy moves for a classy lady!
