Wow! Thank you Reese, this brought tears to my eyes again remembering. An awesome experience. Thank you to Judson, Micah and everyone at Aviator for helping me push through! And thanks to my awesome fiancé for all the encouragement. It was definitely NOT easy for me, but I'm so excited to keep flying and learning.

Good for Dottie! I'm just starting the towing stage, I'm still not perfect at kiting yet but I've gotten a lot better. The times when her wing dies and flops over, pretty much my life. XD CZcams definitely makes it look easier than it really is.

Eric, I thought you traded your problems off with the old motorhome. I guess not. That fear of the motor is real. Then, your feet leave the ground and you are terrified....I guess that is why you never forget your first flight. Great video!

Your issue with the bus at the beginning reminds me of a joke: I have a friend who is gynecologist. He did some paperhanging(?) in my appartment a while ago while I was on vacation. He didn't even need keys, since he could just use the mail slot in the door.

Reese, these edits are next level bro, You and AJ is making me want to get back into the film/editing game again, aka doing it just because I love it and nothing else (after complete burnout with multigp back in the day) - looking forward to trekking up to Lake Wales (its 2.5 hours from me, no big deal) to fly with you and the rest of the aviator crew one of these days! (been too long since my last paramotor video - czcams.com/video/cpQN1XUZnzA/video.html)

My first flight came after about 2 seasons of working in the hot Sun. Schedule limitations and personal ability made it take a long time. Its not as easy as it looks and some of us struggle. I wanted to quit but my instructor insisted I just TRY taxi with motor. His courage gave me courage (nothing to lose). Bingo... in the air and will never forget. Once it does happen, it becomes clear that its all worth it. Congrats to Dottie and the rest of the hurricane class! Tbh, fear was getting in the way and sometimes still does. I wasnt born with wings!
