SO much fun watching young people discover such greatness! Thanks for the reaction :)
I refuse to believe people still haven’t heard this song
Same.
Guilty of radio
It is so cool to see young people groove to the music of my youth, and you are adorable! You should start from their first album, and keep it movin'!!
Check out crowd sings bohemian rhapsody at Green day concert. 60,000 people singing, it's amazing. Lovin' the channel.
Check out the one from Argentina 🇦🇷
czcams.com/video/V6OEiLVOTtM/video.html
Queen was so way ahead of their time!! If you haven’t seen them play live at Wembley Stadium then you’ll love it!!
Freddie LOVED to strut so FLAMEBOYANT LOL!!!!!!!! At the concert at MSG in 82 he grew the moustache and asked the audience if we APPROVED by APPLAUSE and he said if you don't like it FUCK OFF the crowd EXPLODED and the concert was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!
I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO GET TO "CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE"!!!
(Love ya Shiloh xx)
I really hope that she does! I've seen very few reactors do that song.
Yes it's such a great sound from them that I thought was the stray cats as a kid
When this song came out, a lot of people thought that this was an RnB band. It's easy to see why....the bass line, the vocals, drums all sound pretty funky. Nope, they were a rock band from the UK, just being one of the most versatile acts in music. Great review, and I'm glad that you liked this song!
Fast Queen? "Stone Cold Crazy" "Dead On Time"
Slow Queen? "My Melancholy Blues" "Love Of My Life"
Epic Queen? "The Prophet's Song" "Brighton Rock"
Rocking Queen? "Hammer To Fall" "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"
Funky Queen? "Fun It" "Dragon Attack"
Name a genre, there's a Queen song to fit it.
This is only the tiniest tip of the iceberg called "Queen"
Have fun.
Peace
You forgot Rock Opera Queen, LOL "Bohemian Rhapsody"
Queen is a genre
Queen 2. Father to son. First time I heard from Queen. Brian Mays guitar work.
Go green
John Deacon composed this, with "Good times" by Chic in mind. To make a "song" that is the bass-line. He also played the rythm-guitar. Timeless.
If you never heard this song before, I'm betting you never heard Hotel California by Eagles.
Great Song
Do the one from the Hell Freezes Over concert.
LOL so true. But my guess is she knows both and is pretending to hear this song for the first time
Shiloh - try 'Who Wants to Live Forever?' - guarantee you'll love it.
WITH the scenes from HighLander with his love Heather....the song still gets me thinking about that.
The Song Was Written By John Deacon, The Bass Guitarist! He Composed A Lot Of Queen’s Songs , Especially You’re By Best Freind, Another One Bites The Dust, And Many More!
When I went through recruit basic training at 1RTB (Australia) , this was played whenever someone quit or washed out. Had to march down the hallway pass all the other recruits you had worked with, lived with and bonded with
Young lady you are in for a treat.. when you do Queen live stuff.
They are one of the few bands ever that sound even better live!! :D
All of your Queen reactions have been great. Back in '82 we rocked this song on the bus home after a victory. I was a senior in HS. You are using the studio versions effectively, hearing the best tracks we all heard back then. Well done.
Nice to see you loving Queen so much, keep it going as there are no bad choices.
I think your reactions are so good and real and you're so pretty.
You spelled drop-dead gorgeous wrong.
Princes of the Universe and A Kind of Magic which they had on the soundtrack for Highlander are also good
Legends never die they just get stronger long live queen.
This song has always been absolute FIRE!! This was a staple around the rollerskating rink!! My personal favourite from this album is Play the Game. Well worth your time (like pretty much all other Queen songs!!)
Keep up the great videos.
the phrase is an old idiom referring to someone falling to the ground dead, as a soldier being shot and dying as his face hits the ground. (bite the dust)
today, it is commonly used in a broader sense to denote failure or defeat.
example: "after the factory closed down and left everyone unemployed, all the small businesses in town bit the dust too."
The most famous baseline in music history.
Dont forget about under pressure
@@JonathanGarcia-pq5hg John Deacon - the man created the two probably best known bass lines in rock and is mostly (Freddie went happily along with it) responsible for Queen's funk phase (1979-82).
@@mori1bund John got his inspiration for creating these twoo catchy bass lines from hanging out with the band Chic at their recording studio in the late '70's.
Also probably the member of the band who was closest to Freddie, John Deacon retired from the band after Freddie died and does not play with the others when they tour with singers like Adam Lambert.
@@JonathanGarcia-pq5hg Good Times by Chic
Im so happy you got around to listen to Queen .. epic sound and epic voice from Freddie.. one of the best performers in the world RIP...
Love your reaction to these Queen songs. Absolutely amazing music and you are still at the beginning of this journey
This song and "We will Rock You" are played at almost every sporting event in the universe.
every sports venue is basically a queen concert with another one bites the dust , we will rock you , and we are the champions always in the mix at every and i mean every major sporting event
I love how you were dancing while sitting down and moving your head back and forth - everything! I think we were all doing that with you! Like being in the same room as you! Anyway amazing reaction!
Queen had many great songs. I remember when this song was a hit on the charts. Something that also might be of interest to you; Def Leppard- Love Bites; Let's get rocked; or Armagedoon it. Great songs. Enjoyed tour reaction :)
If you really want to go down the Queen rabbit hole, check out their "Death on Two Legs" song. It was never a big hit, but it is a great song.
The saying, "amother one bites the dust"
pre-dates this amazing song. Itis simply a reference to something or someone losing or dying in the same manor as countless others before ;-))
I really love this song from Queen because it's my number one favorite song of my number one favorite rock and roll band ever.
Queen is so much more than this song. Much much more. They are such an eclectic sound
Might I suggest next under pressure, killer queen, fat bottom girls, radio ga ga (the inspiration of Lady Ga Ga's name)
Yes, THIS is classic Queen too.
I want to ride a bicycle, along with so many more are what made Queen epic.
So ahead of their time....
Another great Queen song. Their life at live aid performance is probably the greatest 30 mins in rock
This song crossed over to the R & B charts for all you millenniums out There that didn't know that
Queen songs are for every moment of life. These guys created songs for the normal people in not one specific genre.
Freddie Mercury presence on stage was amazing he owned the crowd.
I love watching YOU react to these classic jamming tunes!
Thank you! so cool hanging with you and listening to tunes.
You will soon be wearing Queen merch after the Queen rabbit hole.
You should see the video of Queen live at the Live Aid concert at Wembley. It's widely regarded as the greatest live concert ever. 25 minutes, and Freddie had the audience completely under his spell. Other than that, "Radio Gaga" is probably the next Queen song to hear.
I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO "BICYCLE RACES"!!!
(Love ya Shiloh xx)
:-D
Yes, that's Queen. Early 80's so their long hair from the 70's is gone and a mustasch have entered Freddies face. Freddie had 4 extra teeth in his mouth and the mustasch helped him to hide them.
You have probably heard a lot of their songs without realize it was them. I bet you've have heard We will rock you and We are the champions. Othervise my suggestion are some of my personal favorites:
One vision (Studio version, highly recommended)
Breakthrough
You take my breath away (studie version, not live)
Excited to see what your next reaction video will be.
Love your facial expressions...your smile is so nice and you totally get into the beat of the song....
Another great song by Queen! And there's that amazing smile again! ☺
Keep up the work girl love it, after ur queen round to finalize it u must do queen at live aid
I know I'm late to the party, but I wanted to relate this story, and it is a true story. It is about a minister that was busy with a funeral service. The funeral party was at the graveside when the minister's phone rang (he forgot to put it on silent). And his ringtone was, yup, you guessed it, his ringtone was 'Another One Bites The Dust'. 😵😶🤣
More Great Reactions. I have an old metal mug from long ago. As I hadn't used it in years I thought it was time I did. So I made a coffee in the Mug. When I took my second drink from it a large piece came away in my mouth. I suppose you could say, 'Another one bites the rust'.
Saw them in Concert in 82....one of the best shows I've ever been too. No one can sing like Freddie Mercury...
"So this is Queen"..... No... not even close... Queen is EVERYTHING... each song is a surprise and a new sound.
Princess Queen was one & only band ever which record classic Music album, blues one and jazz .It wasnt just rock Group, absolutely magnificent chapter in Modern Music. My favourite best record: INNUENDO
Loved the video and enjoyed watching you jam. Let's get to 100k!!!!
now ya gotta hear the Weird Al parody song "Another One Rides The Bus" lol
I known when you like something because that smile of yours shines. It’s a great song. Great taste.
Freddie was one of the greatest vocalist to walk this planet. Aretha Franklin was one of his biggest influences.
wow.. it becomes VERY obvious when you REALLY enjoy a song. great reaction!
Oh heck yeah you´re rocking it girl :) love that song love your reactions so full of happy spirit
Queen song can but shouldn't play at weddings or funerals lol. I always loved this song
So fun, I've heard this as a wedding theme song a few times. Suitable lol thanks again
ive seen others doing that walk late on a sat nite haha!, energetic song, great rythem section n of course those vocals by freddie. try crazy little thing called love- 1 of my favs by queen.
Another vague Queen song that I like is "One Vision", and it's part of a really good sequence of the movie "Iron Eagle". Bonus, listen for the final 2 words of the song...it's classic Freddy Mercury.
I have read that Samuel Butler's translation of Homer's Iliad (1800's) used "bite the dust" to translate some archaic Greek phrase otherwise meaning "die in battle".
Queen’s bass player (John Deacon) wrote this song. Queen wasn’t gonna release until Michael Jackson encouraged them to do so. Told Queen it would be a big hit. Btw, MJ was a big fan of Queen & would go to concerts when Queen was in town. You should do this song live at Wembley 1986. It’s fabulous!! And you should check out Freddie & MJ’s demo collaborations THERE MUST BE MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS & STATE OF SHOCK. Are you enjoying your Queen journey?
One of the best singers....EVER.
Fun fact is that Queen is the only band with all their members writing number 1 hits
Yep that is a good bass. Love the blue hair 👌
First song I remember hearing at 6. Had a teacher who showed us the new sensation jazzercise and played this song. Was 1981
Love your reaction videos! Also I think you have the prettiest hair on the planet !🤠
Queen are Rock Gods, so many bangers
Listen to Under Pressure, live at Wembly 86 and Somebody to Love, Live at the Bowl. Two AMAZING live performances! See what you think. So much content could be created from Queen. Great reactions Shiloh!
If you want to see a great Queen performance, check out Queen at Live Aid concert . They absolutly owned the show
Love your reactions hun, try Killer Queen by Queen, also definitely Fat Bottom Girls, Princes of the Universe, many others. Queen is one of the most, if not THE most, influential bands of their time. They were no stuck in one 'type' of music, their live shows were always packed. Freddie's voice was amazing, his stage presence and persona truly is what made the band explode. Don't get me wrong, ALL of the members are extremely talented, but Freddie was able to draw them out and bring them together.
i was in high school in the early 80's when this song came out and to this day it is my favorite.
Queen is LEGENDARY!
You are the Queen of all Queens!!!
That head rock though😂💕
I'd love to see you react to Queen's song "Princes of the Universe" - its one of my favourites! It was possibly made for, and if not, definitely featured in the 1986 movie Highlander (as evidenced in the music video), and later became the theme song for the Highlander tv series (1992-1998)
Hammer to Fall is a good one by Queen.
Though definitely she needs to hear the Live Aid version. The studio version can't hold a candle to that one amazing performance.
I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO "KILLER QUEEN"!!!!
(Love ya Shiloh xx)
Love how you were really groovin down on this one!
This girl got the groove. What a cutie.
Written by bassist John ... John Deacon's bass line was inspired by "Good Times" by the disco group Chic.
Bits & pieces of this song have been in hundreds if not thousands of TV & movies over the decades since it was released.
If you wanna hear another fast paced Queen song, might I recommend Don't Stop Me Now.
Hola desde CHILE...los clásicos de las décadas de los 70,80 y 90 son lo mejor.!!!!!!!!!😑😯🙂
I use to wear out the skating rink with this song.
Enjoying your Queen Reactions, if you want an awesome Queen experience react to Queen: Live Aid, they did a 25 minute set for a charity concert. You really get to see Freddie Mercury in all his glory, owning the stage.
Voice bigger than King Kong” That’s our Freddie!
Love your channel and your reactions. And you are drop dead gorgeous. Keep it goin'
5:14 There are multiple songs you will have heard but didn't know it was Queen, particularly "We are the champions" and "We will rock you", they must have earned an absolute fortune from just those two as they seem to be played at every single sporting event, anywhere.
Shiloh with those shoulder moves :) 2:15
You want a hidden gem song by Queen that not too many people play but it's still a good song? Check out Queen "Princes of the Universe" It was made for the Highlander movies/series. One of my favorite Queen songs. Please do a reaction! :)
Really enjoying your show, thank you
Love watching this girl!
Freddy was the ultimate showman! I wish we could have had him around longer!😢
Love the channel Shilo. You really need to do Radio Ga Ga, as well as watching the full Live Aid performance.
Keep it up. You're doing great. Entertaining as always.
Welcome to Queen... your smiley face says it all...😎
Love your enthusiasm
Wow you’re adorable😍 great reaction!
