Mike that welding clip was so good i had to pause immediately. Being able to see the tungsten and the filler rod being dabbed into the weld pool is absolutely insane. That's the type of detail we need for anyone trying to learn tips and tricks on welding, and i'd love to see a small series done by you and Johan about fabrication. Would especially be great for Johan as a extra revenue stream to support his family :)

Even if it was perfectly timed to fall out and land right in a pothole at speed, it still wouldn't have pole vaulted the car. That's been busted by mythbusters. The shaft would have bent, the diff would have broke and the mounts for the rear subframe could have sheared, but the car definitely would not pole vault.
Be glad that shaft broke when it did, standing still. Normally you run a driveshaft loop at the front to prevent a solid shaft from hitting the ground when breaking and possibly flipping the car.
CRD are absolute OG’s in the GT-R world.
Adam definitely knows his stuff, particularly in the jdm space.
