- Somehow I managed to press the pause button without noticing so I missed out on some of the classics, but here are:
1) The Actor
2) Driftwood
3) Tuesday Afternoon
4) The Story In Your Eyes
5) I Know You're Out There Somewhere
Band: Mike Dawes (guitar), Karmen Gould (flute), Julie Ragins (keyboard). - Hudba
My husband and I ♥️🎸🎤 Justin Hayward Singing. Watching his reactions 🙂♥️
These songs are beautiful.
77 years old and still perfect
I still Love these songs and always will! 🌹
You can probably now just about count the number of vocalists from 60’s bands that still have great voices on one hand and Justin is amongst them, arguably at the very top. With timeless songs like these, I can see him continuing for quite some years yet. Kudos to amazing guitar player Mike Dawes who opens up the show, worth the admission price alone.
It's fantastic how Justin always makes a point of crediting Julie as "The Female Moody Blue". That's no small thing and richly deserved for a very talented musician!
I have loved the Moody Blues ever since they started. At age 74 now, it's incredible just how timeless their music really lives on. Even my kids and grandkids enjoy it!
He is so good. Moodys music is so mesmerizing. Time capsule of life.
Justin Hayward has written so much great music, The Moodies was such a great band and this is a wonderful performance. Thanks
This was wonderful. Nice supporting vocals, guitar, and flute playing. Justin sounds in tune and very much still able to sing.
Thumbs up just for posting the video!!! ❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
😊 wonderful performance. Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤
Wonderful, I think fifty years ago he could not have imagined still singing these songs at this age. The arrangement without drums gives room for the melodic beauty of the songs.
Peterborough, Ontario was Justin Hayward’s second night on his Harmony Tour. His voice was still Amazing. I had seen The Moody Blues so many times but tonight the Voice , Justin Hayward sang as he had on so many Albums, concerts and I was thrilled to be 3 rows from this Incredibly Talented man. It was everything and more than I have ever dreamed . I saw myself under my blankets as a young teenager listening to CHUM FM with JD Roberts playing the full song of Nights In White Satin. The evening with Justin Hayward brought back so many precious memories from my past. He truly is The Voice of The Moody Blues. Thank you so very much Justin Hayward for your music and your beautiful voice . May 23,2023. A moment that I will Always remember and Treasure. Justin Hayward 💕🇨🇦
OK, I'm convinced that I should see Justin in Massachusetts next month.
Fantastic! What a great performance by Justin. I miss Ray and Graeme but the music of the Moody Blues is still my favorite ❤️
Beautiful video! They sound amazing. Thank you for sharing!
Am 68! Remember Moody Blues, But also comebacks, with Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds. Justin, your voice lingers!
I saw him in Toronto, great show. His voice is in such good shape. His songs are timeless and sounded beautiful with the stripped down arrangements. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for sharing these videos!
the sound i have heard in your hello fills my soul
Wunderschönes Lied
They still have that great sound
Go Carmen!
Timeless!! Miss Ray Thomas but the woman on the flute did an excellent job.
Her name is Karmen Gould.
Don't patronize. She's so much better technically than Ray.
Of course original Moodies is best
Driftwood was especially lovely at this performance bought tears to my eyes 💗
Love hearing the Actor live - still sounds psychedelic stripped down : )
Just in time Justin ❤ you healed my soul
Just in time, Justin you healed the soul of generations 💜 Well done 👍 Good and faithful servant 💜 Be forever blessed 💝 Hold your peace ✌️ always 💞 KimAnn
Just in time, Justin you healed generations 💜 with your raw talent 💜✌️
Justin Hayward is still in fine form.
His Catalog is Vast.
Nice to hear those Classics in a different format.
The Moody Blues had there Run.
Some Beloved members have passed.
There's Justin , John Lodge, Mike Pinder left from Classic Lineup.
Personally I would like to see.
Blue Jay's come back.
Justin Hayward and John Lodge.
That record was so good.
Mike Pinder does his thing.
But I'll take this.
Those songs are great.
Timeless.
I would love to see Justin, John and Mike get back together for one more album.
When we think of the depth and wisdom of the songs they wrote and performed together as young men, just imagine what they could produce with a lifetime of living under their belts?
Graeme was the hold-out for getting back together and Justin still speaks so highly of Mike, based on interviews I've watched of Justin and of Mike. John released a fantastic solo album a few years back, so he's still got it. I would love to hear what the three older, wiser men could produce.
Add in Julie, Mike and Karmen and the world could be in for a very fine treat.
That was great, thank you! 🙏
Just saw him in Kingston. Awesome show.
The flute was spot on. Not one missed note through the whole performance,
Love you Justin, Say it with Love........
I was at the last show in Glenside, PA. Magnificent! Thank you for posting this. Timeless...💙
Long time Bloody Mood. Really smart combo of musicians.
Just seen him in Worcester Massachusetts last night, was lucky enough to see the Moody's together several times in the 90's and early 2000's. Love his music ❤
Yes, you are lucky to have seen them live.
@@dianeprigge595 Yes! Just beautiful music!
I was at the Worcester concert too! My daughter treated me with great seats! We started bringing her to Moodies concerts when she was fairly young. She’s now in her 30’s and is a real fan! We’ve got our front row seats for Justin’s concert in July! Can’t wait!
@@senamartinec7328 Justin is coming to Indian Ranch in Webster, MA on July 17 this summer. My sister and I already have our tickets!!! So excited!!
@@senamartinec7328 Sorry, I just realized you have tickets too! I'm sure it will be awesome!!
Fantástico!!!!!!!
Chastain Park Atlanta GA. With the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. I called out of Work and bought tickets me and my Mom made a Picnic out of it. You could bring In your own Food and Alcohol. Those Were the Days!!!
Great concert, was 4th row centre! Hope you had a good time. I think I was the youngest person there at 33 lol
very cool....and lucky!
It seems to have been an appreciative audience!
2023. And I am still Alive 😃. I remember watching a Moody Blues Concert in Atlanta GA. With my Mother and a month later I almost Died in a Frontline Assembly Moshpit... Don't get me wrong I like Frontline Assembly...
Superb
Thank you for sharing!
WOW,,Super Awesome,,the lady on the flute is awesome
The last time I saw the Moody Blues was in 1993 in Irvine, CA. They were backed with a full orchestra and it was an unforgettable experience. I wish Justin and his band would come to the San Diego area soon.
Nice. Excellent selection
I know I will leave this world without the opportunity to see Justin live here in Spain.
I live in Australia, and I'm flying to England in March, to see Justin in Darlington.
Touring the UK in 2024
Man, chills hearing this. My last Moody Blues show was summer 2014 in Bethlehem PA. So great, a gorgeous evening I won't ever forget. Timeless music, a timeless voice.
crap, I live in Bethlehem. How'd I miss that??????????
thanks Ceri!
💖💖💖
And the Moody Blues...
Ceri Rees.. Beautiful but why none of Justin's solo songs? The same genius wrote the Moody and the solo songs!
He sang solo material, I just messed up the recording, that's all. I put up what I got.
No offense, but most people are there to hear Moody Blues songs. I do like his solo work, but it definitely doesn't have the same recognition
I definitely wouldn't consider the concert complete without some of the solo material! 😀😀😀
Love the Moodies material too, of course, and grateful for what we get.
