    It amuses me when passengers, usually non drivers say "You can't get through that and/or past that" and I sail through. You drive the same car day in, day out, you'll instinctively know what your car can get through without sweating.

    This channel *World Driving* and *Conquer Driving* are the reason I'm much better driver. Within a few months of learning, I was able to drive in not only highways, but motorways and hilly areas. Thanks both of these for getting us learned the things many people don't even know.

    I got thru a wide lorry parked onto a 1 way thin road, I just watched my two mirrors, and everybody else behind me couldnt believe it. It makes it easier if you have a small compact car. But what if you do hit the poles?

    One of my ex pupils said his girlfriend scared the hell out of him, as she drives through a 6',6" width limit (with a slight kink in it) at 30 mph and complains about people doing 10.
    When I taught her to drive she had an argument with me about whether the car was straight when she had stopped after doing a parallel park. When we got out I showed her that my foot could go flat, between one wheel and the kerb, and wouldn't fit with the other wheel.
    Her boyfriend (assuming they're still together) probably goes through that width restriction at 30 now, too.

    Hi. Do you have to check mirrors for bends in the road, as you’re changing direction?

    • @worlddriving
      @worlddriving  Před rokem

      You should check the interior mirror before slowing down or accelerating but otherwise no. But you can check more if necessary.
