"We're just clones sir, we're meant to be expendable. Not to me." This made Plo's Order 66 death hit much harder.
Actually he wasn’t killed by his clones, those were different. But it’s still sad
@@charmiking4767 still clones though.
What clones even were they? I'd assume they were his.
@@charmiking4767they weren’t the Wolfe pack but they were still part of his legion I think
They were his boys that he treated all of them as his children.
TECH DESERVES S TIER IT MADE REAL MEN CRY😭
tech death got me, i was heartbroken when happened :c
I've noticed a trend with this. Every clone's death is S tier while every prequel death is not important
qui gon
Qui-Gon, Dooku, Guandi and Darth Maul (Clone Wars)
I was thinking the same thing😂
kanan's death is genuinely heartbreaking. he gets his vision back for one second just to see the 2 people he cared about most- hera syndulla, and ezra bridger, and he sacrifices himself in that moment. it is truly one of the best of star wars
remember also that his death and the sacrifice of his team and his padawan is undone in Ahsoka

@@valentinlageot4101Please tell me you're joking
Agreed, agreed, agreed, but I love it. Caleb Dume’s entire character arc is concluded in a beautiful way.
@@tylerpinniger9958he is wrong.
I cried at Tech's death because Wrecker was genuinely concerned for him and Tech just went "Plan 99."
Then wrecker told him not to do it and he went "When have we ever followed orders?" Then shot the hinge falling to his death.
Dude…..Tech’s death was one of the saddest moments in Star Wars history. He went with plan 99 which was the plan to sacrifice himself to help the rest of his squad escape!!! I truly almost cried when I saw him fall to his death! I had lots of hope that he wasn’t dead and that he somehow survived and was going to make a game-changing return in season 3, but he didn’t which really made me sad…but season 3 of the Bad Batch was 🔥🔥🔥
Anakin: I died because the emperor killed me.
Obi Wan: I died from lightsaber dismemberment.
Padme: I died because me sad.
"They treated Greivous's death with respect"
Also Greivous's death: *organs explode from blaster shot and burns internally*
So uncivilized.

Let's forgive him, he said he doesn't remember quite well how he died 😔
Man.. techs death hit me more than any of the deaths throughout any of the films combined
I completely agree.
Agreed and especially knowing that plan 99 is named after clone 99 makes his death hurt even more
@@shadowwolf1324 I think his death was as sad as Kanan’s death in Rebels.
I did know that, but you're awesome and I love your videos. Very insightful. Keep it up man
Felt your reaction to 99s death. And I was so happy to see you salute after ive been doing it for 5 seconds (;
Dooku's death really was sad because you could tell that he was betrayed by Palpatine when he told Anakin to kill Dooku and he never saw it coming😢
Qui Gon, Obi Wan, and Anakin had the saddest deaths imo
So true

not Obi Wan though what meth are you on?

wasn't it burned along with him at his funeral?
Really
Fun fact, kit fisto wouldve lasted much longer against sidious, but he sensed anikan during the moment and it distracted him, leading to his death.
Bro, Boba Fett and Cad Bane have been rivals for a long time. It’s actually how Boba Fett has a dent in his helmet and Cad Bane has metal plating over his head. Disney chose as villain because it was the perfect idea. Who is a better villain than the man who tried to both take your father’s love and your life away. Cad Bane being in TBOBF is actually one of the few things that was good about the show unlike the fact that Boba lost his fighting skills and had the stamina as (no disrespect) an elderly man.
Also, Cad Bane was slowly starting to become irrelevant so to the fact that crimes were harder to get away with after the clone wars, and that the Empire did not like hiring bounty hunters. They did this but they didn’t like it.
Padme's death makes a lot of sense and i tell you why: when Anakin told her to join him and rule the galaxy together everything changed for her, as he no longer knew the Anakin she fell in love with, so when that happened her soul have been crushed and he lost all the hopes she had. So the real reason of her death was a broken heart and it was sadder than you think IMO (PS: it's possible to die for a broken heart, as you lose the hope to live)
Exactly! Finally somebody understands
I never get how people don’t understand this, thank you.
Yeah, but personally I think that this is not the only reason because Anakin strangled her for a while and after that she was unconscious, maybe something more serious happened because of that.
but she just like gave up
most of the others either sacrificed themselves or fought till the end and i hate padmes death because she just dies she doesnt even fight she just gives up with imo is pathetic
There is a theory: Palpatine took life energy out of padme and put it into ani
Makes sense but is a little too crazy to be true
Plo Koon’s death is truly tragic because he valued his clone’s lives just as much as his, and he cared about them not just as useful tools of the republic but as comrades and brothers. Those same clones could have been the ones that shoot him down over Selucamai, or whatever planet it was. Very tragic.
the wolf pack wasn't involved with his death
Cato Neimoidia.
"Broken Heart Syndrome" is a real phenomena. 💔 Padme had it. ( The stress your heart produced actually can off you. There's alot more but you should look it up.)
Techs death was very sad cause of his last words to wrecker “When have we ever followed orders” as he shot the connecter on the cable car
Tech's death not being ranked S tier is criminal 😭😭
literally without that, the entire bad batch would have died and omega would have been placed under the command of tarkin
I agree with S tier
I wouldn‘t say s tier, buta is most definitely deserved
perhaps he isn't dead *suspiciously suspicious side eye*
I saw somewhere he was confirmed alive
"It... It was General Krell. He sent us to these coordinates to stop the 'enemy'. We thought they were wearing our armour... But... It was... You."
I think Waxer's death is one of the saddest ones in the whole franchise. He was tricked into killing his own brothers, there are only a few instances a clone cried in the show and this was one of them. He did not die glad or in peace like Hardcase or Tup.
Another thing is that he has a drawing of Numa (the little twi-lek girl Waxer and Boil saved) on his helmet just to remind you who's dying.
Yeah how is waxer not on this list that's a really sad death.
you speak out of my heart. and wer is paz wizla, and honestly satin too because of obi wan
Pas Visla. Not wisla
Love how you have Harry Potter ps1 sound track in the background nice touch
Granted I was a child but K-2SO’s death made me weep and it still brings me to tears so it’s a crime he ain’t here as well as IG-11
Plo Koon derserves S because he treated his clones with respect and kindness "we just clones sir, we mearnt to be expendeble" "Not to Me" 😭
Plo koon is the best
My favourite jedi 😣
This list is really good!
22:42 - Dude, Tech is S tier death. Like you're other S tiers he sacrificed himself for his crew. He also had a romance blossoming which would've been nice to see more of. Saying it's a meh because you couldn't be bothered watching and paying attention is a weak sauce excuse considering how much effort you gave lesser characters who had seconds of screen time.
I absolutely hate the way they treated Han Solo. He's my favourite character and he got killed by his own son? He had his perfect character arc in the original trilogy.
IMO his death couldn’t been Better
It was shocking and sad
what harrison ford wanted unfortunately conflicted. they kinda had to kill him off cuz he wasn’t overly interested in continuing for the entire trilogy. considering this, i don’t think his death was that badly done. set kylo’s villain arc up really well. unfortunately the next 2 movies didn’t follow it tho.
I guess I'm the only one who thought Han went downhill in empire. Went from my fav character by far to someone I couldn't care less about.
The way they killed Han Solo is so fucking stupid I lost IQ after watching it
I cried three times in star wars, Fives,Ima Gun Di, and 99.
His name is literally I’m gonna die what you expect? 😹
@@ItzMeItzMe_ OK, but doesn't make his heroic sacrifice not sad.
Ima Gun Di was brutal I agree, one of the first times I cried in Star Wars ever. I do it all the time now lol
@@DarthEqualizer eh I thought it was pathetic of him to die to droids but that’s just me lol

There's three glaring omissions here on this death list. Duchess Satine, Savage Opress and Saw Gerrera
Yeah. Maybe Stella too. Tarkin, Crennic, Gallen Erso, other Rogue-One crew members. Other inquisitors. Jesse, Waxer, Thorn, Hardcase (all S tier I guess)
I feel like darth mauls silence kinda adds to how menacing he is since it reminds me of those ninjas that are just silent and kick ass kinda like snake eyes
I am surprised Commander thorn is not on here. His death was not a tier where men cried but if Commander Thorn was on this list, I would put him at A or B tier.
Tech’s death was actually really sad. All clone deaths hit me so hard! 😞😭🥺
I cried
Epic pfp it’s mine on disney
I cried too! 😞
Tech deserves s tier. His dead actually made me cry
Holdo’s death shouldn’t be that low. We dislike the character but the way she died was pretty cool to see in theaters, with th light speed.
23:11, actually the Grand Inquisitor barely uses the spinning thing, he mostly just uses a double or single blade and when hes single blading it he would use 1 hand like Dooku's Form II.
aayla secura's is even more sad then you think, not only what you mentioned, but the clones, if you go by og battlefront 2, respected her so much, that they all shot at her to give her the quickest and most painless death that they could. and they did it out of major respect for her
“It was a good thing we were wearing helmets, because no one could look her in the eye”
TECH IN C ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WTF MAN THAT'S A S IF IV EVER SEEN SOME I CRIED WHEN IT HAPPENED
21:52 Palpatine used a sith technique called Force Scream. This practically makes the opponent unaware of what is happening around them and makes them let their guard down. This was why they died so quickly, because they underestimated Palpatine's power and speed.
Tech's death deserved at least A tier. Almost every good clones death made me ball my eyes out
qui gons death had emotion to it, how his apprentice avenged him and turned into the master of the chosen one.
21:55 Sidious used a force scream. It rendered their ability to use the force, all but impossible. Kit Fisto barely managed to avoid it, but lost focus because be sensed anakin was coming.
long story short sidious focused on the other threats almost immediately and avoid mace since taking them all on was a death sentence. If he didnt basically struck faster than they could react they could have won
Luke dying broke me cause he was my favorite character at the time I saw the movie
21:54 yeah, but palpatines scream was a force scream, which makes the person unable to do anything, and since sith were thought to be extinct, they hadn’t studied it, so it was just random.
You might want to update the list there are more Character deaths that are not on the list. (I will name the one's from the movies and shows not the games. Also a few clones that played a role in the Clone Wars.)
Empire - Grand Moff Tarkin, Admiral Peitt, Admiral Ozzale, Orson Krennic.
Rebels - Saw Gerrera, K-2SO, Bodhi Rook, Admiral Ackbar, Baze Malbus, Red Leader.
Clones - Waxer, Tup, Hardcase, Mayday, Commander Keeli, ARC Jesse.
Jedi/Sith - Shaak Ti, Fifth Brother, Seventh Sister, Savage Opress
Other - Mother Talzin, Morgan Elsbeth, Rush Clovis, Duchess Satine, Roos Tarplas, Bib Fortuna
(There might be more names that I didn't mention but these ones are well know in Star Wars. If there are names on the list you don't know, who they are and how they died. Let me know and I can help.)
Duchess Satine is the only one I'm angry about.
Shaak Ti and her 50 billion alternate accounts
No one cares about Rebels
"...seeing TFA in theaters when I was nine years old"
OOF. I think I died a little hearing you say that. 🤣
I was 11, this guy's too young
Yeah same. I watched revenge in theater when i was 9
Imagine being 9 years old in 2015 lmao that should be illegal
@@balloonman8796 Same bro. Was 11 and then my friend asked me if I was interested in watching the movie in theatres with her and her father.
@@balloonman8796 Bro, you're not much older LMAO.
I was 24 when TFA came out.
Plo was one of my favorite characters. He was so good. He loved the clones and they all felt kill
I didn’t know the duel of the fates fact but that is very interesting
To be fair, with regards to Padme, it's revealed somewhere (novelization or comics, not sure which) that Palpatine was using her lifeforce and connection to Anakin to keep Anakin alive long enough to get Anakin fixed up, which was what killed her.
That’s not true, it is a fan theory and was not confirmed in either canon or legends. It’s an interesting theory but it’s not a staple fact in either canon sorry.
But this is why he said that Anakin killed her tho because he was taking her lifeforce
In my opinion, Darth Vader had an oddly satisfying death. It may be S tier, but it still makes me happy to see that Anakin redeemed himself.

"He was quite a yapper"
It runs in the family.🗿
I think saddest death was when, you remember that three episodes in clone wars when that clone found out about chips for order 66, it really made me cry, 1. Because i just liked the character 2. Because what if he said them about the chip, that could literally change the whole universeum and whole galaxy, we knew it wouldnt happened, but it was still sad
Plo Koon's death didn't mean much to me when I first saw the movies, but after the lore was expanded that shit is sad.
You need to have the younglings on this list

Would have been SS tear
I did know that fact about "Duel of the Fates" and why it is called, "Duel of the Fates." I know a bunch of random Star Wars facts, LoL!! I'm obsessed with Star Wars! Oh, and I am not huge on the sequels. I love episodes 1-6! Some of the T.V. shows are great, too, in my opinion! Also, I love that you put "One" from Metallica over that clip! I love Metallica, and "One" is one of my favorite songs by Metallica. It's based on a book/movie called, Johnny Got His Gun." It's anti-war.
as soon as we got to 99 i popped a salute for his whole section. He was the best of the clones

Qui Gon is honestly probably the morally best jedi. He wasn't blinded by the order, and if not for his death, Anakin likely wouldn't have become Vader.

Thank you jedwerd for doing another tier list vid I really like these tier lists and I think you should do more ✌️
Thanks champ, I appreciate it 😊
I feel that Fisto deserved at least a B, and I feel that because of Clone Wars, which in my opinion Fisto became a reakky good character, and a cool guy
"Pre Visla was right, Mandalore had become weak" totally agree. If you've read the legends comics, there was another sect led by Jango Fett's adopted dad Jastor Mereel that believed in protecting yourself and your loved ones, and maybe getting involved in the occasional war for the greater good, but other than that being peaceful. Death watch is just a bunch of warmongering sociopaths.
When he talked about Cad Bane's death, I was fr like: "Cad has a death scene?!", thats how unmemorable BoBF was. Then Supreme Leader Snoke? More like Supreme Leader Joke.
Thank you Jedwerd for posting, you made my day.
“ There are things far more frightening than death”
I think he is referring to the sequel trilogy
Padme's death is honestly makes sense, first of all the love of her life committed genocide not only of adults but children too. She was force choked by her husband, and that alone put some trauma on her body most likely. She was pregnant! Also mothers can die in child birth it could have been tied to her heart that caused her death. You can actually die from a broken heart to which she just got a huge broken heart. There are other ways, but none that likely fit her, also I don't know if it is canon, but it is said that Palpatine used the force to steal her life force to give it to Vader in order for him to live. Also it make his loyalty all the more easier if he believes he was the cause of his wife's death. Probably not the most extravagant death, but one that works.
This guy isn’t anakin because he is most definitely a master (a master of yapping)
a master at getting caught
This man just said he was 9 when he saw episode 7. Oh my gosh my heart sank. I’m old
I saw the most important death in the first 5 seconds and was like “that’s all I need”
good break down
Speaking of Duel of the Fates, there would've been three fates for Anakin, the 3rd one being if both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon died. Scratch that, there'd actually be 4 fates for Anakin, the 4th being what if Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon survived.
what about if both Obi-wan and Qui-Gon survived?
In theaters when you were NINE!? Damn that made me feel old
We didn’t really see holdo die but she still probably did
Han deserved to be in B or A. The acting on Harrison Ford's part was amazing. The scene had important emotional weight that carried on for the next two movies as it had built internal conflict between Ben and Kylo. Han went from a greedy smuggler who cared only about himself to a selfless father.
Hold on just a damn minute, FIVES DIES?!?!?!
I'm surprised you didn't put Baze Malbus and K2SO from Rogue One in there as well!
So few things Mace Windu isn’t confirmed as dead there always been theories and books that he survived the fall. As for Padmé look at what George Lucus said his reasons behind the used of lost the will to live it an actual medical reason in irl.
good breakdowns and explinations and great music taste. subscribed to you bro
99 will always be in our hearts😢
Ki-Adi Mundi was a genuine sociopath, man was literally everything wrong with the Jedi Order, i havent met someone who actually enjoyed his character
I wish we had more movies like rogue one, the character arcs were done so well in what is basically a filler movie aside from the last 30 minutes when they figure out how to steal the death star plans
I'm not going to lie now that I think about it, I genuinely believe that I was crying when Han Solo died in The Force Awakens. I'm now getting emotional when I realized the transformation of Darth Vader back to the light side in Return of the Jedi and then dies in front of Luke (Episode VI) as well as Padme Amidala's death in Revenge of the Sith (Episode III).
Love your videos Jedwerd truly a good youtuber
