Its not those cars that can't run at speed or accelerate up hill - you can tell they are pushing by the exhaust and the noise, its the ones that sit there at 75 on a stretch of 100, and speed up at the overtaking lane meaning only 2 of the 2,955,487 cars banked up behind them can get past them. SHITS ME!
Almost as bad as those idiots who speed until they find a car doing the speed limit then tailgate it and can't overtake when the situation allows because they are shit drivers with no brain or driving skills or ability.

I was a little skeptical about the alloy, but after seeing the end result I reckon it looks great. You should really mount a 12v oven / pie warmer on a slide there. That would be the ducks nuts!

I used to own an Mitsubishi Evolution X when I was in my early 20s and thought that every car should reach /maintain the speed limit within a reasonable time. I now drive a 1992 SWB Vitara Carb. When you know you are the slower car you have to sometimes abuse the car to not be that guy slowing down the traffic. Maybe everyone should drive a slow car when they are young so they know what others are going through 😂. I will have a look and see if there is an EMU wing for Vitara, nice idea.

After becoming the proud owner of a '92 Maverick I know exactly what you mean about not being able to always do the speed limit. Not something I ever thought about when driving my Mazda.
We have quite a few hills here in the Yarra Valley and I'm stuffed if I can't get a good run-up, been stuck behind a few trucks without the power to overtake, just have to suck-it-up and be patient. Always feel a little sorry for cars that get stuck behind me on a steep climb.

Red hot tip, can use a small bit of wood along the metal edge and clamp it to get pressure along the whole thing 👌🏼

I'm liking it! Gret job guys. Just one concern with the pinchweld, it it is the pinchweld I know it has a steel inner to give it grip. That has a tendency to rust. You might want to run a bead of sealer around the frame to seal the frame to the body now which will prevent any water from getting to the pinchweld steel inner. Don't use SIKA, you will ever get it off again. :-)
Problem is Dan if you wait for the lower rear 1/4 to take a hit then it’ll usually crease the rear of the 1/4 panel. Best bet is to get proper bar work out but the bullet and chop away! 😂

Gday Dan, there's a product called BUMPER MAGIC that rejuvinates all the old faded plastic on your POOTROL, flares, mud flaps, the bits near your windows, check it out you won't believe the difference it makes. Love the Gull wing. cheers Gordo

I with Liam on the overtake capability, was towing a camper trailer on the Donnahue Hwy and this 200 series towing a caravan signals the road is clear... from his perspective!! Man I had to bail almost as soon as I pulled out cos the gap was way too close for the old girl to overtake at 100kph.

Oh man, was hoping to see the fridge in place and the lads grabbing beers\
Nissans looking good. Tip on your wheel arch guards and rear vents. Paint with undercoat for plastic then clear coat. They will look new for years to come. Polish your bullbar with pads that fit onto a 125mm grinder from ebay and the white metal polishing sticks from bunnings.You will be surprised how easy it is with the ebay pads. You will love the results. All the above for about $50.

Lay a tapered bead of sealant from thick to thin on a scrap piece of cardboard & you can test the drying or curing time easily.

i thought i finally found the solution but then i saw the price and went stuff that, also how is his car so damn clean, i have the exact same patrol and it is no where near that tidy and clean like its actually amazing

If you ever need to get a roadworthy you will need the third row seats if it is registered as a 7/ 8 seater. I recently had to remove my cargo barrier and reinstall the third row of seats because the Landcruiser was registered as a 8 seater and the inspector would not issue the certificate until it was done.

I really don't think people know that some cars are too slow. My dad in his 2h 60 has to get a run up every time for a hill and there's always some idiot going so slow up the hill and it comes to the overtaking lane on the hill and dad has to pull out so he doesn't have to back off but he can't get around the car because it's too slow.

Apparently the some gq utes had a paint defect which made the paint peel off quite easily. Happened to my dads aswell

Should weld the rear doors shut get you emu wings colour coded to the same colour as the car and take the glass out the rear doors and make it a panel patrol
