Nuzlocke RULES:
1. If a Pokémon faints it is considered dead and can’t be used.
2. I can only catch my first encounter on each Route/Town.
3. No items in battle(Held items allowed)
4. I must play the game on "Set" rules.
5. I cannot be higher than the gym leader/elite 4's ace.

A huge problem with the team, eh? Is it the fact that half of it is weak to Ice and there’s an Ice Type Gym Leader? I don’t know that’s my best guess xD
Yup! It was a huge pain during the nuzlocke.

Half are weak to rock
Half are weak to electiric
Over half are weak to fairy

4 of the pokemon are weak to Fairies;
Rock types will demolish the 3 Flyers (Hawlucha might survive maybe);
The problem is half his team is weak to electric, half weak to rock, half weak to ice, and 2/3 weak to fairy
Wow, you did pretty good! Especially with the berries, maybe you should try beat pokemon Black/White with ash's anime team, he gets more than 6 pokemon, so can be pretty fun

You said anime team not Kalos specific team which means you could have caught the others as long as they are on Ash’s team.
