Description of Route
1. As you exit the cruise terminal, turn right onto Woodes Rogers Walk. You'll be walking along the waterfront, so enjoy the view of the harbor and the many boats docked there.
2. Follow Woodes Rogers Walk for about 5-10 minutes until you reach the Straw Market. This is a great place to stop and do some shopping for souvenirs or local crafts.
3. From the Straw Market, continue straight on West Bay Street. You'll pass by some local restaurants, shops, and hotels, so take your time and soak in the atmosphere. You should see Señor Frogs on the wharf.
4. Follow the road which will turn right and you will pass the British Colonial Hilton Nassau, which is at the time of writing, is closed.
5. Keep following the road and you will pass the Margaritaville Beach Resort - Nassau on the right
6. After a few minutes of walking, you'll reach Junkanoo Beach on the right. You'll know you're there when you see the colorful umbrellas and the white sand beach.
Once you arrive at Junkanoo Beach, you can relax on the sand, take a swim in the crystal clear water, or enjoy some of the many activities available, such as snorkeling, kayaking, or beach volleyball. There are also plenty of food and drink options available, so you can refuel before heading back to the cruise terminal.
