Me and my wife went to the Bahamas in February . We did half at an Airbnb and the end at Atlantis. It’s ruff trying to get around without a rental car, and the jits were inconsistent. The people were dope they definitely looked out for us. If i go back I’d probably do Atlantis for the whole time to avoid the stress of getting around the island. Great vid Chews we appreciate the content
Great suggestions for the people. We had a great experience without doing the atlantis period. We preferred using the rental cars but it is good to know about the atlantis.

Great video. I have never visited Bahamas due to the expensive prices when I researched the island. I had no idea that transportation was so expensive. I can’s wait to see your experience with the pigs.
Yes Bahamas is a great place but it is expensive. We took local transportation and then took a rental car which saved us a good amount. Stay tuned to see our experience with pigs

I'm from the Cayman Islands so I understand the difficulty of tourists getting around but they also drive on the left so that's a plus and advantage on my end :)!

Liked your video. Been going to Nasau for over 35 years. You covered a lot. One thing. at least from 2022 Atlantis is pretty well closed to all those without a wrist band. No freebees.

One question, how can we get two days of activity at the comfort suites if we can check in at 3 pm and have to check out before noon?
Great question, because you check in at 3 but I have heard that the people at atlantis can let you in earlier. If not you have from 3 pm till the end of the day and then all day during the checkout day.
Ill be honest.Us bahmains can be aggressive but it depends kn the promblem. But overall evveryone is nice. ( We do love watching fights and our fights be busin)
What part of the island is best to stay if you want it to be walkable to swimming, food, and live music

I'll be staying at Atlantis with no rental car. Planning on doing a grocery trip for my stay, but what's the best way to get from the hotel, to the store and back without getting hassled?
Unfortunately I cannot give you specifics on the Atlantis but there are cabs and taxi's outside of Atlantis all day. You will find one
Did you end up getting a rental car and if so how did it go?
I did not. I took a taxi from the airport to the resort and stayed at the resort. He was a sweet old man and he gave me his card and picked me up at the hotel to take me back to the airport. @@ourworldenterable
I’m going to Nassau and staying around paradise island not exactly in it, I’m scared because online it says there’s a lot of crime and murders and stuff, should I go or cancel the trip but i don’t even know if I can I’m going with my mom dad and sister.
I understand your concerns about safety. It's always a good idea to research and be aware of the crime rates in any destination you're planning to visit. However, keep in mind that every place has its pros and cons. We did not see or experience anything that made us feel unsafe on our entire trip

American Express Cards are taken at businesses. Maybe not all, but the card is accepted. Most locals pay the Jitney driver upon leaving but it's up to the customer. I really don't know how the driver knows who has already paid or not......LOL.

Can you bring your luggage on the jitney?
Not sure about that honestly
The bus drivers wont wait too long for you to lug luggage. Buses are privately owned which is why it's inconsistent. In essence, each driver is hustling to get as many passengers within their day to meet their personal quota. When you think catching a jitney, think hop on hop off bus...or traveling jet blue with no carryon bag just a personal item bag.

Haha i have found that many caribbean islands do not take american express. Honestly that is why I stopped traveling with mine when I travel. Just using a visa or mastercard
We was there in June and used nothing except AMEX. This must be something new they just started good to new because we’re headed back in a couple days.
@@mommamorris3 We have been 4 times, (going again tomorrow) Amex is hit/miss. One hotel didnt want to take it but I told them its all we had and they took it. Some stores will, id say the majority won't.
