Thanks so much for putting this on - have so many great memories of good old McKeesport, what a great town- remember the Christmas parades so very well, especially love seeing the old big red bells they used to put up every year- was always a great place to be at Christmas time back then.
Thanks for posting these great videos of a once great city. Having lived there during this time, I can tell you that the city was once full of life and pride. Its so sad to think about it now. Today it is a shell of it's former self. Most of the stores are closed and the streets are dangerous even in the daytime.
Great film. Love the decorations. But where are the marching bands? I only see majorettes with drums? I know back then there were high school marching bands. Love marching bands. Nice to see this thou.
