The Leafs should keep both Domi and Bertuzzi!
They worked great together, gained steam together at same time and seem to like each other. Domi stated he really likes Bertuzzi personally,

You must be a fan of another hickey club that's why you want to see them trade Marner right keep Domi for sure Bert didn't want to be here and you could tell right off the hop trading Marner would be one of the dumbest moves Treliving could do start with getting a goalie preferably an nhl goalie get rid of the dead weight on defense move out players like Kampf Yarnkrok Robertson player who have had their chance to help push but also failed the problem isn't and never has been the core 4 the problem has always been the supporting players around them getting rid of the second best player on your team usually means rebuild which is not the case in Toronto

@@Kyle11011Marner is a 100 point a season player, Domi isn’t! Marner has the most points in the playoffs out of the core four and not all players are physical. Do you think that Vancouver would get rid of Hughes because he’s not physical? Nylander, Tavares or Mathews are also not the type to throw big hits or drop the gloves but guys like these two dump on Marner and everyone joins in. He also came back from an injury and because he didn’t get a point in the first two games these two clowns were already calling for a trade.

I'd be shocked if Domi isn't resigned. If you have to give him a 3 or 4 year deal to buy more of his prime years then so be it - its time we start rewarding the middle six/character types like him

Both are due raises, the blue line needs to be filled out, again, and, oh yeah, two guys are taking up almost $22M in cap space.
Max! Versatility and contract price the tipping point in his direction for me.
Domi moves up and down the lineup, and contributes. He's not always careful defensively though. To me, so long as the value is there, happy to have him back.
I think you have to keep them both, it seems like they are a package deal like the sedin twins or hansen brothers

I think that Domi fit's better. I could see the top line with McMann, Mathews, Domi, they never got around to trying McMann up on that line but he brings that physical presence that brings speed to get in on the forecheck and he has a good hands around the net.
Keep them, and move out various core 4 pieces to make space.

i wasnt happy with Bertuzzi at all he aint worth 5.5 a season i could find better ways to spend that money, Domi i wouldn't hesitate in signing, he is a Leaf that bleeds true blue, sign him up BRAD.

I love both and they were so important in the Bruins playoffs but Domi is the one to keep. He does everything and plays with heart when it matters and can handle the high pressure market better than 95% of the other players on this team.

Domi is a Toronto boy who played well at both centre and at the wing. Bert can be replaced and probably cheaper.

Yep, I get it, you have to talk about something. That’s your gig. But realities being what they are…. Unfortunately with the 4/5 taking up half the cap space, we cannot afford both (if possibly even one considering other priorities) Unless there is an absolute miracle with JT and or Marner. This has been the narrative for the last number of years… money all tied up. We get a rental from someone who takes a flyer on a one year contract and then they go else wear for more.

If I had to pick one I'd say keep Berty. Domi IMO has a less liklihood to be productive in the playoffs where as Berty may or may not perform well in the regular season but I think he provides a ton of strength and truculence in the playoffs.

Agreed Rosie. Domi carried in the playoffs. Really the end of the season he fought he carried the puck. He should get a new agent. Needs a raise. Not too much though we want him in Toronto. Keep Matthews and Domi Reilly and Nylander the rest. Move on.

Look if Toronto is truly in a quest for the cup, they need Quenville to coach they need to stop trying to tip toe in to the playoffs and you need Domi & Bertie, and five more like them. Which leaves goaltending Woll is promising but he's not ready just yet... Marlies hold another prospect goalie also not ready. Ilya is not the answer. The Leafs need to cut bait with core 4 bullshhit that has A M scoring 1 goal in ten Playoff games.
In summary you need a coach you need 5 studs and a goalie trade the only guy that didn't fully comitt to this club is Auston 14+ million redistributed gets you all of the above. I couldn't give a shit that he scored 69 if he was the answer we would have won a cup after 8yrs & we haven't. Mich has struggled but he's at least willing to commit long term so is Willy John and Morgan who should be our Captin and the only one who stepped up in that Ottawa game...... and perhaps gave his team the push needed to compete.
Look back at 93 that team is your blueprint not over saturated Prime video's. That team was robbed but held each man accountable. Finally how does a mad man during his career winning 3 Stanly Cups along with infamous international hockey accomplishments sit there for 10 yrs and keep his job for overseeing 8 early exits. How many people have to fall on their swords before you realize your being played!!!

They were both absolutely useless! Domi is not a smart hockey player. Bertuzzi first needs to learn how to pass, shoot and play positional hockey. In other words, neither one should be on this team next season. We had guys like Lafferty, who was a very useful player,but of course Dumb-ass let him go. There are a lot of useful players out there, at low cost available...you just have to do your homework and find them! This will show what Treviling is made of.
I still cannot believe that the clearly unknowledgeable Leaf fans continue to use Marner as their scape goat! The last 3 seasons in 241 games Marner had 91 goals, 281 points and was +62! He is a +110 for his career! Goes all the way back to The Big M and Keon then to Sittler and MacDonald where they were treated like crap by the team AND THE UNKNOWLEDGEABLE FANS!!! He is also MORE THAN A POINT A GAME AVERAGE IN THE PLAYOFFS!! STOP LISTENING TO KELLY HRUDY! AUSTIN MATHEWS IS POISON! Ask yourself Why Domi’s played on “7” NHL teams and is a Defensive liability. Forget Domi.
How many teams dumped Bertuzzi and how many full season has Bert had ?
For 2.5 M more Bert had less point then Domi and Domi can play any position!
