I'd like to offer a formal apology for not including Pluto 😢
Edit: I included Pluto in part 2, watch it
As you should. You did Pluto dirty.
The tidal pull on each earth would be such that the crust would be constantly shifting up and down, the oceans would rise and fall enormously, we’d probably be dead.
Respect Pluto.
And of course Charon with it :-/
Shoutout to his family😢
"You're the Moon, now"

Possible with a moon-moon
Pfffft! With that kinda gravitational pull, WE'D be the asteroid
@@mayhemmike1789 Wow. You totally one upped me. Super cool

@asdasasada722, what are you, a walking encyclopedia or something? Why do you feel the need to explain terminology, when someone just mentions them?
Even though Pluto isn't a planet anymore, it felt like you did it dirty by not including it.
i feel like it would've been dirtier to put it and actually it not even being visible lol. It's exactly like trying to pin point Australia from the Moon.
@@ahauntinglybeautifulmelodyyou can literally fit Pluto inside Russia comfortably, let alone Mars. Our moon is basically another planet even now.
There's always part 2
@@Stargaze_youtube 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀
I thought the same thing but Pluto is literally half the size of the United States -- with Charon the size of Texas -- and it would have just been a tiny smudge in the sky at a little less than 240k miles away.
I would be stressed if i had to see Saturn or Jupiter every night 😂
facts, although neptune is a vibe, not gonna lie
You wouldn't have to be stressed, because the radiation would kill us all.
Saturn being right there would be so beautiful. We could all die as a result, and it'd still be a beautiful end.
@@ElectricChaplain you my friend are absolutely right massive amounts of radiation will pour throughout the o zone layer and within seconds we will fall unconscious straight to our death! We wouldn't even know what hit us!🥺
Now imagine looking into the sky at night and seeing Uranus XD
Yes, I know, I know. Low-hanging fruit.
2 Earths orbiting eachother could be a wild alt hist. imagine the odd cultures and different events. Without the Moon, faith would be entirely different. The dino asteroid would only hit 1 planet right? Would 1 of them still have massive lizards?
Dinos 👀
earth III
they probably would for some time, but my guess is that they would continue to evolve into newer things
I wonder how long it would take them to realise that their moon is a perfect mirror of their planet
Imagine alt earth watching world War 2 from their telescopes.
Neptune's reflective glow over the city at night = Tokyo Night color scheme
Neptune would not be that deep a shade of blue, but to be fair, this was made before the recent recalibrated photo was published that made this fact more well known.
neptune is not actually that color and they are lying to you
Neptun is more blue 🥳
Mars would be way worse. Because of the stuff in its atmosphere it would fill the night sky with a blood red
Neptune = blue
I like how you took the altered color of the reflected light into account, especially with Mars and the Ice Giants.
Venus and Earth would dazzle the eye. Not bright enough here.
That jump from mars to Jupiter was intense
Dude, the city illuminated by Neptun is so *aesthetic* !
Good thing we can't smell it tho.
Isn't Uranus supposed to be the smelly one
@@HeadsetHatGuy And Jupiter is the gas giant.. 😮
@@HeadsetHatGuyIt's made of a lot of sulfur as far as I can remember, so you're right about that 😂

I sure don't want to se Uranus in the sky at night. Yikes!
I was wondering! Uranus's lovely light blue glow is just wonderful! So is Neptune's nice little dark blue glow too.
Walking outside at night and seeing Jupiter or Saturn would be terrifying lol

we'd perish, earth won't even exist 😭
Smoke itself would turn into smoke
If we acknowledged the radius of Sun orbit on which the Sun must be running round the Earth, then nothing would change, except for Kopernik theory would be a lie in favour of geocentric world.
The distance between the Earth and Moon could fit entirely inside the Sun. We wouldn’t be smoke, we’d be atomized plasma
Jupiter jump scared me
Five nights at Jupiter
I like Jupiter
0:33 is like the spiderman meme with the two looking at each other lol
Awwww … I wanted to see what the little pebble of Pluto and Charon would have looked like
A few things i learned from this.
1) jupiter and saturn are the definition of "gas giant"
2) earth is WAY smaller in scale then i thought
3) the inner belt planets are so tiny if not for their gravity or gravitational influence they would make cool moons
4) we wouldn't have the giant giants as our moon, we will be THIER moon
4 is exactly what i thought
your mom’s a gas giant.
NGL, Mars is so ominous and cool AF.
Uranus is also quite beautiful (pun not intended)
Thanks
I appreciate it.
Neptune 🟦🙏
Thanks for saying it so I didn’t haven’t lol. The teal light it would cast on us would be beautiful
It's amazing to me how even the largest planets pale in comparison to distances between much smaller objects. I thought Jupiter would have engulfed us for sure.
Indeed! As someone already pointed out, you can put all the planets back to back and they could still fit in the space between the Earth and the Moon
Wouldn't Jupiter tidal-destroy Earth being so close? At least its crust and the inhabitants on it.
same lmao
i imagine we would end up being *their* moon
@prenomnom9746
The radiation too.
@@carterjones8126 is Jupiter radioactive?

Pluto will always be a planet to me, that's what I learned in school and that's not gonna change
Sorry :(
It’s too small to be a real planet
@@HurricanePatrickAgree
Isn't neptune actually a pale blue similar to Uranus but was just raised in saturation to show off the atmosphere
I was gonna write the same comment, you’re right
Yes but we won't ever accept that. It's cursed. In fact I think we need to send missiles filled with chemicals to Neptune that would turn it into a darker Blue.
Neptune's true color is actually pretty similar to that of Uranus, which is a shame because that blue is so beautiful...😢
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Im sorry.
Some scientist said Neptune looks like Uranus makes it true? I think not.
This would be pretty cool to see with Titan, Europa, Ceres, and maybe pluto too
Say what you will, but that Teal Glow from Uranus looks beautiful

this video makes me realize how small the Earth is, let's take care of it before we lose it
I love your videos. Keep it up 😁👌
Thank you! Will do :)
With Venus and Mars: Earth becomes part of a binary system.
With Mercury: Probably would create a binary system.
With Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune: Earth becomes a moon.
With Pluto (even if it is not considered a planet): Earth gets a moon.
Mercury isn’t that much bigger than the moon. It would be just like Luna.
@@bigbean1681Mercury is a lot denser than the moon though, they have a massive iron core so it might still be binary
Pluto is still a planet.
CZcams thank you for suggesting this brilliant channel to me! 👌👏
Uranus, looks so nice in the night sky.
Thanks I'm sure it does,I try to work out.
Not sure what I've learned, but this visualization is really cool - well done !
Very clever, thanks for sharing. I had a similar vision when I designed the cover for our album Sun Travellers Excursions, back in 2008, although I had more in mind the binary sunset of Star Wars.
Mercery-Mars. Wow that moon is interesting. Jupiter. YOU are now the moon
Was hoping to see Pluto at the end lol
your videos bring me so much joy, thank you
Some of the moons orbiting Jupiter and Saturn are larger than Mercury. Would have been cool to have seen them too. Plus poor little Pluto .
Neptune looks beautiful.
If I am not mistaking, you could fit all planets next to each other and still there would be a gap between Earth and Moon. That's how far Moon actually is.
Jupiter looking kindof like the LV sphere with the eyeball looking at the city. Nice choice of music too, really enjoyed it
0:53 from here on out, you can consider the earth to be a moon of the planet in question.
😂I fr wanted the sun
As always with 'other planets at Moon distance' type videos, Jupiter looks creepy & the only one that looks this way, although not as creepy here as in other similar videos I've watched.
it’s so ominous and formidable
I grew up with planet Pluto.
Wow, Neptune's so so beautifull at night ... that blue 💟
I'm actually not sure that saturn and its ring would look like this just 450k km away from us.
It would because Saturn plus its ring is 400k kilometers in diameter which would be 50k miles away from Earth so far from engulfing Earth. The ring is only 30 feet in vertical height so not a big deal at all.
Anyone else feel sad when they don't see poor Pluto get any recognition?
Nope
More just irritated. Pluto is still a planet.
@@TheFirstCurse1 by what objective definition? Your feelings are irrelevant.
@@michaelbruvolt4221 The people who voted on it were star scientists, not planetary scientists. Also, they disqualified Pluto as a planet because it "didn't clear it's orbit" within a certain amount. If you use that criteria then that means that the only planets in the Sol System are Mercury, Venus, and Neptune.
So Pluto is still inarguably a planet.
@thefirstcurse3123 again, no.
It was the Astronomical Society who determined this. What better group to decide this issue than them? And why insisting on the demarcation between "planetary and star scientists"? They're astronomers. Never heard anyone call them 'star scientists'. What's a planetary scientist? Is there a society or organization of them? I think you're trying to find a club to "bludgeon" the International Astronomical Society that doesn't exist.
Anyhow. There are plenty of reasons to discount Pluto as a planet. Mainlyy its orbit is on a completely different arc and plane than the eight planets. It's Arc is the same as all the other icy asteroids in the Ort cloud. Its irregular. Planets have a level orbit in the same plane as the sun. Pluto does not.
Also, you're mixing up the random debris that Pluto is in a field with to moons that orbit around a planet in elliptical motions. That's not happening with thr debris around Pluto other than maybe Charon. The planets don't have these fields of debris around them. Again, moon's orbit AROUND a planet. Pluto's debris field does not.
Also since you're so focused on the clearing Pluto as a planet, why not the same effort for Eris, Makemake, or Ceres? Why does Pluto only get to have your defence?
Neptune is so pretty, that shade of blue is so comforting❤
Jupiter is huge!! 😲 Sweet video
Please show the catastrophic effects on life that these gas giants will have as they approach Earth.
☠️
There
Saturn at least doesn’t have nearly as hostile of an environment as Jupiter. Not sure about the tidal forces though. Otherwise it would be cool being in a close neighborhood with Titan and Enceladus
@@iamdamosuzuki_ It may not be as hostile as Jupiter but is certainly not a planet which can support any form of life. But without a doubt it is a beautiful gas giant.
Pluto officially hasn’t been classified as a planet since 2006, due to it not actually meeting the requirements for a planet. And it’s smaller than our moon. (For everyone asking where it is)
And Pluto's at home, just cryin'
"Replacing the moon with Uranus"
Suddenly you get the Elder Scrolls sky box, and you're better off for it
Pretty good video. I actually went and crunched some numbers and I think this is fairly accurate for how much sky they’d take up. A fun fact: if you could scale up a sheet of paper to the size of Saturns rings they’re actually about 100 times thinner than a sheet of paper. They’re estimated to only be only 0.6 miles thick but 175,000 miles across.
That thumbnail was the BEST! Thank you :)
I was waiting for poor little pluto, its still a planet to me.
I was looking at the slots in the time stamp of the video and though "cool that he included Pluto" then realized it was the outro. And then I felt bad for Pluto, I know it isn't a planet anymore but still
I usually include it too, it was just too small in size for this video.
It's still a planet
@@Stargaze_youtube It would have been really funny if you showed the text for pluto and then there was nothing in the sky because it's too small to see.
It would be pretty amazing seeing something up there other than a grey rock
Beautiful! But also kind of...terrifying. (One of my recurring childhood nightmares was seeing things in the sky that were bigger than they were supposed to be or weren't supposed to be there at all.)
And Pluto!?😡
I have seen Uranus 🚀
Nice video - the Earth would just be a bulge in the rings of Saturn.
The rings would cause havoc with our weather, and destroy our buildings.
Pluto been real quiet since this dropped.. lol but cool ass video!💯
Jupiter will not be Earth's moon but earth will become Jupiters moon
really cool you ubjusted ambient lighting to the object
Excellent, enjoyed this CZcams video.
It would be interesting to see the different planets from the same distance as the moon to the earth.
I'm this early. wow.
Seeing a bright Saturn in the sky on a clear night would be the coolest
seeing another earth from earth would be cool
The music you used sounds like a mixture between lotr and sunshine. Very nice
The harmony, beauty and perfection in the solar system and galaxies show the infinite power of the creator.
Neptune just bathing everything in cobalt blue. Too cool, figuratively and literally.
Neptune isn't that blue though, it's actually similar in colour to Uranus, just a little bit bluer.
@@AndrewTwatSaid some random scientist. If we want it to be blue, it's blue.
@@front331 Nah I'm not a scientist. I'm saying that Neptune ain't as blue as in the video, it is blue but not that blue.
While seeing Jupiter so close is extremely scary, there is something soothing about having another Earth so close. Like a space friend to brave the universe with. Not alone anymore.
Thank you very much great Idea .. goosebumbs 🙂even with that soundtrack .. and I'm afraid that if you swap the moon with the sun then we'll be inside the sun, wonder how that looked like 🙂

Cool video, thanks!
Such a beautiful view of Pluto.
Replacing earth by earth ...hmm now that looks beautiful 🥰♥️
This vid is so fun to hear the peaceful music and this is making me tear up
One of the most beautiful videos I've ever seen. I had a great joy watching it and realizing that no matter how big Jupiter and Saturn are compared to Earth, they didn't engulf it still !! I wish to see a similar video where Earth can have two to hundreds of moons 🤩🌝🌚🌛🌘🌗🌖🌕🌔
It seems so strange seeing planets in place of the Moon. It makes me realise how comforting and familiar it is to see the it in light of these new 'strange' neighbours but also that indeed the Moon is in space and external to Earth and not just some mere extention of it or fixture of our sky.
Everyone looks at time left. “Ah, nice, he’s including Pluto”. “Ahhhhhh! Gawd damnt!”
Thank you on your effort, Doom guy. 👍🏽
I like that you know exactly how much detail of earth we'd be able to make out if it were as far away as the moon because we've been to the moon and looked back at earth😊
Neptune gives off a funky club vibe in the night sky
Now do a video on what the tide would look like with each of those as our moon.
Being able to look up at Uranus every night would be pretty special..
The gravitational implications aside, having Saturn as our moon would be cool.
Everyone born before the year 2000 still considers Pluto to be a planet. C'mon give some love to Pluto!
Neptune and Mars would be less scary looking 😂 but all so cool neat video 🩵
Venus was just perfect. Saturn was magestic. Neptune inspires peace and it is enhance on night time.
