I'm from Sweden and she sing in nearly perfect Swedish. She sings in 10 different languages and I must say that she is just fenomenal.
Not true, many words can't be understood but since many Swedish people memorized the lyrics their brain don´t hear the obviously flaws.
@@yogajedi3337 nah, I don't know the lyrics by heart 😄 I'm swedish and I understand what she's singing based on swedish being my native language. But there are some flaws. I started to chuckle at the start when she sang "aldrig" with a Very clear Dutch accent. Sounds cute. She sings "trodde" more like "tradde" but close to "trodde", got to give her that. But the mistakes are so minor. I am impressed. The differences are less extreme than some swedish dialects. I am impressed.

I didn't realize she sang in 10 languages..I can sing in French, German, Latin, French and Italian myself..also as a Soprano.
Amira sings this in perfect Swedish - a language she doesn't know, and doesn't speak. She doesn't sing in a foreign accent, but in a truly Swedish accents. Not as immigrants here in Sweden, who you immediately hear if they are of British, German, French or some other foreign origin. Of course, we Swedes speaks in many different accents, because we have many different dialects in our long country, but we don't speak with a foreign accent - and Amira doesn't do that neither. When you listen to her here, it is as if it is a Swedish singer you hear. I think Amira's skill in singing in different languages is connected with her singing skills. Remember she learned singing opera by just listening to opera on CZcams when she was 9 years old, and then started to sing in the same way.
Many words hardly can be understood unless you knows the lyrics beforehand. So, actually, quite far from perfect Swedish, not bad though.

I explain it to myself like this - that Amira is a 'genre' of her own.. because people will listen to her sing anything - musical, spiritual, opera, and it doesn't matter if it's not music that they normally listen to. If it's Amira singing it, it's captivating..

Besides Amira's magical and magnificent voice, one other thing I've consistently noticed about her in the three years I've followed her performances is her exquisitely perfect posture. Whether she is standing, sitting, walking, etc., her posture is always so magnificent. I believe this has contributed greatly to her breath control, poise, stage confidence, and vocal power. Not a vocal coach nor singer myself by any imagination, but just my opinion.
I was there in the front row looking up at this angel I was in tears at the tones of her her voice. I do not understand Swedish. you didn't have to the music the voice fantastic.

Beautiful song from a swedish movie called "As it is in heaven", Amira sings in swedish and it's amazing. I had followed her since 2013 and she open my hearts to heaven everytime.

At this same concert Amira sang Hallelujah ( not the L. Cohen song) and amigos para siempre with Patrizio Buanne as duet partner. I prefer the Hallelujah of the two.

The Gesu Bambino is brilliant.. not for a while have we had one like that from Amira offstage just enjoying the acoustics in the empty church with her dad playing a gorgeous soft accompaniment on the organ.
There's two videos so avoid the short version, the full one is over 3 minutes long. That's the one to watch. Amira singing just for herself like this I love.. so relaxed not performing to an audience yet the voice is spectacular.

Lovely reaction again. Just for the fun of it you should watch the reaction from 'Petra reacts' on this one by yourself. She is Swedish herself and is totally blown away by this. For this genre Amira is the perfect singer to me. For jazz/blues it is Angelina Jordan and for musical it is Lucy Thomas. I know there are many more very talented singers, but it is impossible to follow them all...
Amira is a much better Musical singer than she is classical-opera singer. Have you missed her Sound Of Music, I feel Pretty........ When it comes to musical singing Amira blows Lucy Tomas off the stage. Stage Musical singers, worth the name, also can sing without amplification on small stages and Lucy it's not even close to that. at least yet.
@@yogajedi3337 It is not a contest or so. It's about wonderful music and I do like all the singers I mentioned equally. To me there is not 'the best'. I personally do not like 'the sound of music' but that is just my taste. Has nothing to do with good or bad music.

Within moments of my first meeting her she presented me with a beautifully packaged copy of her third CD - on which she sings in 11 [eleven!] languages. I honestly do not know of any other singer of any age and degree of experience who has equalled this astounding feat; nor am i confident that any other could! Need I add that in addition to all her bountiful talents amounting to little less than genius she is the most pleasant and charming company in the world? Another great reaction, lads! Keep it up!

@@BritPopsReact Part of what makes Amiras' so beautiful and emotional is the way she uses her vibrato and vocal dynamics to sculpt the lyrics to the sound she is producing. Not common, even for most professional singers. Just found in a few of the very best singers.. Angelina Jordan can do the same. It's just more obvious in Jazz and Blues as genres that really emphasize the obvious use of it
Classical singing is more subtle and much more difficult to employ those techniques
It's why Opera singers are considered the Olympians of vocalists.

Wasn't implying that Amira is a fully trained Professional Opera singers (thank God) just that her utilization of many techniques she has already mastered along with her perfect pitch and inherently masterful use of her superb control of her vocal dynamics enables her to sculpt her vocalizations in a way to maximize the ability to connect with and stir the emotions of many of her listeners.
Not many older, more experienced performers are able to do this let alone young children or teens.
