Roots is "new" sepultura, arise and remains is "old" and chaos ad was their "black album".
A great sepultura song to check out is "Phantom Self"
This was the first time they play this song, and no one has listen before, and the video was recorded in Rock in Rio 2019.

Please react to another Brazilian heavy metal band called Angra. They are from early 90's and still on with some members change. Great band with lots of masterpieces. Start from the music "Temple of hate" or "Carry on". You will never regret.

Its weird, the guitars, vocals and drums are crazy good but the synths are like... kid just discovered garageband
Hello!! It is weird how you have some of those same experiences than I have, what comes to music I mean!! I have mention it before too 😅.. What I mean is ofcourse "Roots bloody roots" and that is for me the ONLY song too that I have ever heard by them😂😂.. It wss a time when I wasn't SO into metal yet and tell the truth, I heted the song then!! I always heard it on a Top40-chart television program (the one where I also found Nightwish from😉)...
I haven't heard it like🤔... after 1998 or something so I don't really remember it, except the chorus and I'm not sure would I like it nowadays or not but I think I don't try to find out😅...
When this song started, I was thinking (because the beginning sounded SO cool) that perhaps I have judged them too soon only by that one song I've heard over 20 years ago because I was really excited about the beginning like "Wow, this will be great when that started to build-up with those guitars🤘🤘"... But what the F#*C happened🙄.. I mean how that beginning fits to that actual song🤔... To my ears it didn't fit at all and ALL of that excitement disappeared after first two seconds of that crazy riff😬.. (reminds me a bit of what happened with Eliveitie's Ategnatos when you did it!! Getting very excited and then just feel like someone is pulling a carpet under your feet🙄)
Way too intense for my taste eventhough I liked that instrumentation in some parts🤘😅
And actually this wasn't THAT bad and pretty much what I expected but after that great beginning I just can't get rid off that "disappointment"
But cool performance but not just my thing😅
