    Been a Texas deer hunter my whole life and have learned more from your videos over the last year than I’ve learned in my lifetime. Ranching experience vs “Hunter” experience is much appreciated. Growing up we’ve always fed corn and will continue to, just won’t be using it in our protein feeders anymore. Never knew that could be a problem. And, never thought about moving our feed pens due to contamination. Great insight! Thanks for putting all the work into your videos and please keep them coming.

    Thank you for your knowledge, I'm always looking for knowledge weather it be the ranching or wildlife management. It would be neat to se some of your survey work from the air and some of the undesirable traights you look for in management deer.
    Its very suprising land owners that would rather have paid hunters that are hunting those antlers instead of letting some one come in to cull and give kids opportunities and that just want something to eat and have that relaxation that comes with hunting.
    Thank you, Brian Brown

    Snatch snatch snatch...LOL!
    I love that you want deer on the property. So many people consider them a nuisance.
    I noticed y'all don't seem to be houseplant people, which leads me to wonder if you've got a garden of sorts? You've got the perfect property to set a Food Forest up and I'm curious if you've ever thought of actually planting a browsing area for the deer? (if anything to keep them out of a possible garden)
    I don't know what kinds of vegetative goodies are natural to your area as you wouldn't want to introduce an invasive plant, but sticking some plant seeds in a bird feeder or making a suet cake out of fertile seeds is a good way to distribute them property wide.
    Permaculture is your friend and animals are a part of that perfect system.

    Maybe you've covered this in another video but what is your educational and work experience background? I find your base knowledge of all the intricate areas of the ranch very fascinating. That may come from living and growing up there but it seems to be much more. Some people have a natural gift of intelligence and information absorption but others (me) have to work very hard at it. How about a video about your story?!?!

    My goal is meet I trophies nice butt my goal was mainly to eat feed my family down here South Carolina rdr2 don't grow that big because South Carolina game and what they brought into mule deer but if I took them as trophies and they didn't have time to pass on the genetic material and too many people here won't trophy dealers instead of weaning out the Kohl's take me home first and let them bucks pass on their genetic material

  • @jamesbrock2941
    @jamesbrock2941 Před 3 lety +1

    Makes a lot of sense also by taking the mature deer you're ensuring its Bloodlines been passed on but you're also ensuring that signs aren't breeding mothers that way you know we don't get no inbreeding I mean here South Carolina it got your system got so out of whack it's not funny I mean we got those where the only way you used to tell a doe here with seeing in a wreck on them or not rack on them you know that's big dose and mature bucks but when a rabbit head deer where they've been too much inbreeding in their heads and necks or two small is bad genetic material and overcrowding
