This is a very interesting view. It looks beautiful. I hope to be an owner of one very shortly. I plan on converting it to an ebike for a LONG 300+ mile trip. I already have a mid-drive but I'm considering using a Grin V2 all-axle as a custom "extrawheel" trailer to hold some big battery packs. I fear between my leg strength and a mid-drive I would put too much tension on the chain. Maybe not.
You look like you had a blast! Thanks for sharing the footage.

Hey Jon, it's a very comfortable ride. As for as chains . Most chains can handle alot of torque. Never had an issue.
      Thanks for watching

The Catrike 700 is built for speed. It makes it easy 😆

Great ride me video! Where the heck are you that you can ride for so long and never see a car? You’re lucky! I have a 559( my Lexus sedan) and a 700( my Porsche 911) and ride them over 10,000 miles, per, year at age 71 all, over New England and Florida in the winter. I love them both. No e assist yet……I’m too young for it! You have a new sub in me!

Good for you 71 want a blessing.
It's good to have assist. Sometimes after riding 40 to 100 miles with no assist Sometimes. You enjoying yourself so much as you are getting tired but you want to keep going that's when that assist comes in handy, just keep going having fun without being so spent out.

@@pitmastertoby2598 the first Catrike I bought used as I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get into it. I bought a used Trail that had a hub Bionx which I very rarely used. Bionx is now out of business. I wanted a larger rear drive wheel and a folding unit to transport more easily . I bought a 559 and loved it then I wanted more speed so I bought the 700. I sold the old Trail to a guy who had been a serious cyclist but had a stroke and needed a trike with e assist. It was during the vivid chaos when one couldn’t get anything. I never used it with e assist and it changed his life and sped up his recovery. I posted a video of him riding my old trike. He then moved up and bought a new Dumont with Busch e assist

I really liked the speed and easy of riding a Catrike 700. Then I rode a Catrike Dumont. It’s slightly slower, but damn that suspension is nice. But if do get a second trike, it’ll be a 700. Then I can have a Cadillac and the sports car of trikes. The Dumont I own and 700 I test rode did not have motors. Both pedal very easy. I did test ride a 559 with a motor, they are a lot a fun. 😎

The Catrike 700 is really fast, I was able to maintain 18 to 22 mph on flats without assistance for miles. Having the assist is a must have. I like to have it if I need it.
I had the Domunt also but I traded it in for the HP Velotechnik FS26 Scorpion. I didn't like the suspension but the ride was smooth The elastomer, that I had where defective, and I went through three pairs. I got tired of it and got the HP

@@pitmastertoby2598good to know about the elastomers, I’ll keep an eye on mine. I was almost sold on a 700, but most of the roads and trails around here are not that great. That extra with the suspension was game changer for me. Had I not tried a Dumont, would have gotten the 700. I was trying to find an HP to test ride, but none were available. Then the Dumont I have turned up with a price I couldn’t refuse. So now I’m back riding without pain. Cool video by the way. 👍😎

I did trade in my 700 for the Azub Ti Fly X. After riding trikes for a few yours now. My riding preference is exploring. I like the fact that my HP scorpion and the Azub ti fly x, giving you a better riding experience. Both are fast enough for me rather I'm on the rode or off rode. Going up mountain trails, crosing creek beds, rocky terrain and then transistion back to gravel trailsand asphalt. , I like the option to do both . Plus the comfort is amazing is what sold me.
