I never use the card to open the Tesla, I only use the phone app. I love not needing a key fob. I’ve had a 2022 M3LR for 6 weeks and its my favorite car. So much fun to drive, I love never needing gas and the audio system and infotainment is amazing. I won’t buy another ICE car ever again.

@@Jarballo5 at home i think about $2 for 150 miles. a supercharger will cost about $6.
@@Jarballo5 This morning I went from 58% (209miles range) to 83% (296miles range) using 19kWh cost me $1.38 according to my electric rate at time of charge.

Yes it can be turned off but you should activate dog mode instead
Use dog mode. The display tells people who are worried about your pet that it's comfortable.

My wife wanted a fob. She was used to it. You can buy one for $125. It is shaped like a mini Tesla.
Does she use the phone key, though? Or the fob only? She should try using the phone key for a few days it will be easy to adjust to IMO

So quick question I'm days away from getting my Tesla would it be good for me to use my hotspot I have Verizon and I have 5G phone but I live in a apartment so I won't have my Wi-Fi so my question simply is does the hotspot work well If I run it to my Tesla.
Haven’t tried it but if you phone has good cellular connection I don’t see why it wouldn’t work
Hey, welcome to the Low build quality of Tesla cars, if u buying a model 3 performance it will come with premium connectivity so u will be able to use CZcams and play music and videos etc, you can also pay a subscription it’s about 100 per year, for updates u will need a strong wifi signal to be able to download the updates.
They need to come out with these features on hybrid cars too. I would love to buy a prius with these features.

My model 3 will be here next week I can't wait I'll probably be using my phone the most but I'll definitely keep that key in my wallet because you know These phones don't always act right Especially since 5G came out. we lost service for 4 hours last week here in Vegas with Verizon. So I can't imagine out and about And no phone service and now I can't start my damn car lol

Car wash does not help as soon as you use the wipers and washer fluid on the model 3 and Y the wipers throw the fluid into the driver side window and if open into the interior poor design unfortunately

My old car has a physical key lock for the glove box. The pin pad feature is a downgrade.

@@navinjohnson8272 I've done videos, parking it in a cold and road trip videos in snowstorm. I am pretty sure it will be just fine not being parked in a heated garage.

Lose your phone you lose everything
Let me get this straight. I have to now either take out my phone. Unlock it and go to an app to lock it or unlock it. Or I have to take a wallet out of my pocket, take my card out, I have to be next to the car, touch the car, and then put it back in my wallet and put my wallet in my pocket.
Whereas with a keyfob I just have to put my hand in my pocket while walking away and press it to lock or unlock.
And this is considered a "cool feature". Sometimes I wonder how people with this logic manage to afford a car like this in the first place. I guess mom or dad buy it for them.
Anyone with a brain would realise now everything that could have been done with a click on one easy to get to button now requires going through 2 or more menu clicks to get to the same function. Cupra Born or the EV BMW is a way better car. Tesla doesn't even have Apple Carplay or Android Auto.
This is really a way to cut manufacturing costs, they aren't features. There's no reason they couldn't have both options.
The phone is the key, the car still automatically unlock having the phone in your pocket when you approach it and then locks when you walk away

@@vce.john1734 lmfao my car haven’t break down yet, I hope it doesn’t but rattling noises, software etc problems makes my experience owning a Tesla just horrible other thn that car is beautiful and quick. I will go for a BMW or Mercedes next time.
@@chrisjmorales577 I have no hate but I do love bmw and Mercedes anyway but I still love ICE and EV at same time my current car is a accord 1.5 sport which I love but the new Tesla have better refresh technology i hope when I get a model y or model x refresh I don’t deal with horrible build quality if it happen I would get a taycan Turismo wagon or Audi e tron.
