We added superstars, depth, and valuable young players while losing an overhyped rb and an overpaid safety. On top of that we have a completely healthy team leading into training camp. Saying the Giants are going under last years win total is a boneheaded take with obvious bias against the giants.

I can see the New York Giants winning 9 or 10 games this year, being second in the NFC East, and makjng the playoffs. Philly or Dallas will have a down season this year.
If you're looking for under 6, head a little south to Philadelphia. The Eagles are dysfunctional. The Giants pummeled them to close out the season. And, yes, the G-Men were leading 21-0 before the birds went second string.
The Giants were 3 very doable plays from finishing 9-8 last season after a horrific start. (Buffalo, Jets, Rams). They outplayed their opponents in those contests.
The Giants closed out 2023 with dignity, and clearly on the ascendancy. Philly left 2023 on a gurney.
The G-Men added key pieces to the O-Line, the D-Line is definitely stronger with Burns, and their WR Corp will give opposing defenses migraines.
Further, they will no longer be held hostage to Saquon's annual sprained ankle, and Waller popping his hammy is no longer a concern. At both RB & TE, they are now stronger and deeper.
No offense to DJ, but Drew Lock will be starting by week 5. Simply stated, Lock is cool under pocket pressure and DJ is not. His legs won't be able to bail him out.
The Giants will win at least 10 games and will once again return to the playoffs. They're simply a much better balanced team this year, and Daboll will be calling the plays for an improved squad that went to the playoffs just one year earlier.
Everything was good until the lock take, but that's my only disagreement. Everything else was spot on, so I give u a like, but I think dj is better.
Problem with all these DJ theories is when he performs when he has weapons & protection. Thats when ppl start swallowing their words because everything weve seen thus far is him playing with the worst of what of it & little to no help

As a Giants fan if I had to bet my life on it I'd say a slight over with 7-8 wins. I think people forget the Giants had arguably the most injured group in the league last year and the first half of the schedule was absolutely brutal. With that said, I do think our secondary is weak and in general there isn't a ton of depth across the team.
People who are screaming about the Giants should have franchise tag Daniel Jones are delusional with the team salary cap situation. If they applied the tag to Jones, it would have cost them 35 million that year against the cap, hindering any chances of getting free agency help like Bobby Okerekee. The mistake was not picking up the fifth year option. Also people who pick them to win only 3 to 5 games missed the fact that despite only 6 wins, their last few the team kept fighting and three to four of their loses they almost won, putting those games as possible wins. I'm not saying their going to the super bowl or going to be dominating or even making a playoff run, but with what they did in the off-season via personnel and coaching staff, it's very possible that their ceiling is a 10-7 record whike their floor is 8-9

Daniel Jones got that contract last year b/c Barkley wouldn't sign his. So the Giants had to franchise Barkley and sign DJ, instead of the other way around. The Giants have an out with DJ, but they need to keep him thru the end of this season, or incur a $20+ mill dead cap hit..... All in all the by the end of DJ's contrat the Giants will have gotten an average QB, for an average QB salary.

@@flyguy7825 😂 buddy the commies got swept by us last year with Tyrod Taylor and Tommy Cutlets at qb. Washington only signed washed FAs and got a qb with no Oline to protect him so I’d say they got slightly better. The Giants actually got Danny so weapons so he at least has some chance to improve himself as well as improving the oline with better players and coaching. This team is better than the one that went to the playoffs 2 years ago and people are acting like the Giants are a worse team than last year just because of one player

Aye saquon is prolly the best RB in giants history got give the man his credit. Not his fault we won’t paying him what he deserved. But I think we pivoted into the right direction we filled some gaps and prepared for the worst in our depth chart after the horrible 2023 season. We have a lot of young players that have that mentality to strive and be better and that’s bigger then people think. We are going to overcast the negative projections for this coming up season and surprise the whole league. I believe in the BIG BLUE 🔵🔵🔷🔷🟦🟦🛜🛜
