    Hi! Love your videos! Yesterday I had a deadline and sent out some quick sketches done in Procreate, following your tips! Didn’t have enough time to do proper renders ..and the result was great , client loved them! Thanks for your work.

      This is such a great thing to hear, thank you Federica! I would love to see your sketches if you would ever be up for sharing them. It might be fun to interview you for the Procreate Procreators videos I'm planning. Send me an email if you would be willing to consider either, OK?

    Thank you for your videos! I use procreate as an artist but also started to do similar work for interior design/ renovations for personal purposes when I purchased my house. Your perspective trick was especially useful. I think adding some fabric texture to the sofa would have helped the colors blend and look a bit more realistic. :)
    Are you familiar with an app called Room Planner? If not, it’s super handy to easily create floorplans and various views that can be used to replicate a space without having to edit existing furniture in a photo. You can also add furniture. It has some flaws, but can be used as a starting off point for more detailed customizations off app.

      @@iPadForArchitecture I am a Creative Director working in the retail / pop up event space. I use "hybrid rendering" techniques all the time. To add a sketch style that clients love, sometimes I will sketch over a dropped opacity real life image or product. The mix of sketched lines over a faint real image has developed into a cool style I use often and saves a ton of time. I have been watching your videos for several years now and have used many different techniques you have shared.

    • @iPadForArchitecture
      @iPadForArchitecture  Před 2 lety

      @@ST0RMENTA Yeh that's a good technique. I have one client who even calls me to trace over photorealistic renderings he finds too...too...whatever. They're easy jobs and end up looking pretty cool with the combo of styles. Any special kind of video you would find helpful, Brian? E.g. do you ever use Morpholio?

    • @ST0RMENTA
      @ST0RMENTA Před 2 lety

      @@iPadForArchitecture Nothing comes to mind at the moment, but something might pop up in my workflow across my active projects next week that I can share back. I have not used Morpholio yet, but I am interested in the CAD features and the drop in library of items like vegetation. I need to find some time to take it for a test drive.

    • @ST0RMENTA
      @ST0RMENTA Před 2 lety

      You have a specific style you use the most and I have a style I use the most. Maybe a video of the same scene / space but in 3 different styles could be a cool video. (ie. sketch over images with drop opacity, just line work with soft color fills and texture brushes, and maybe something like your watercolor or similar technique). The different approaches and different go to brushes for each one. Just a thought. I love all your videos so I am thankful for all your videos.

    Do you suggest using both morfoleo and pro create?

    • @iPadForArchitecture
      @iPadForArchitecture  Před 2 lety

      To be honest, I prefer Procreate. None of these apps can export to CAD, so they are all about concept design, period, and that means the only thing to decide is to choose the one that "feels" best to you, and in my opinion Procreate has the simplest and cleanest UI, leaves the most screen available for its workspace, and is easiest to learn and remember all the commands and workflows. But I know people are passionate about Morpholio and I choose to show them how to get the most out of it, rather than compare and contrast the two. Which one each of prefers probably has more to do with which one that person chose to learn first, but if you don't have strong feelings about one or the other, I would recommend starting w/ Procreate, and it just so happens to be inexpensive when compared. I promise to finish my online course asap so you can get more support!
