If your wanting to sync to separate devices from different manufacturers (ie Aqara and wyze) using the IFTTT app might be another option. I was trying to have my Aqara cube work with a Wze plug and IFTTT allowed me to do that.
Hi fantastic video I am new to Aqara about 3 weeks 2 days I received my Aqara cube set it up was quick I have a Aqara hub using Aqara app I am trying to use the cube when my Alarm goes off I want to shake my cube to turn the alarm off can it be done I have tried with no success
What are the settings in the HomeKit app itself that you can use?
Way to bring in the big guns in the programming. Shane is a guru for automations and thought his approach was exactly what I’d expect from him: exacting without complexity. I have not seen Shay before and am having difficulty finding her CZcams page. I tried clicking on the link for her and it doesn’t work. If i have a zigbee device from other companies like Sonoff , can i use it with aqara hub?
Unfortunately not, Aqara Hub only works with Aqara Products. But you can use Aqara products on Mi Home App.
Like lots of us, I've been watching a bunch of CZcams lately. I'm trying to find a product that meets these requirements and was hoping you might have suggestions:
---> 3 way smart dimmer (yes, I have neutral wire available)
---> works with existing non-smart 3 way non-dimming switch
---> Homekit compatible (greatly preferred)
---> White - not almond, not whatever other colors, just white
Besides this dimmer, I am looking for a SP dimmer (can be 3 way but there's only 1 switch), 3 way non-dimmer (that works with existing non-smart 3 way non-dimming switch), and a SP switch. I'd prefer to have them the same OEM so they all are in the same app and all work with Siri.
I've been researching all that I could but it has become confusing. I've been looking at Amazon, Loews, Home Depot, some of the Mac enthusiast sites, and more. You seem to be much more HomeKit centric. Suggestions?

Would be nice if Aqara had a wall dimmer and not just an on-off wall switch. That way you could build a dimmer level for each of the sides and then make an automation for each of the six sides based on the level of the dimmer (10% does X automation, 20% does Y, 30% does Z, etc...). I do this method to automatically control a Philips Hue bulb from a Lutron Caséta wall dimmer in a hallway. Depending on the

What, just bought this thinking it was homekit compatible.👎 So have to buy an outlet to just to fool the system?😳
Nope not this model back in the day. That why we had to come up with another way to get it to work in homekit. However you’re in luck. They recently release the cube pro amzn.to/40LCYR4 that does work with Homekit but only one trigger per each side of the die.
@@ModernDayTech Ok, so the Cube I got yesterday dont work with homekit? Must say im very disapointed so far with Aqara, the app is awful and I dont understand much. Tested to program that the hub would do a police sound when I tip the cube 90˚. It worked but after 10min trying to make it stop sounding I had to pulled the plug. Didnt even helped to delete the automation. After that the temperature dont match anymore, in homekit it say 19,5˚c and when I ask google home it say 20,18˚c
