- Watch the full episode 17 of H2O: Just Add Water! The girls are left housebound on the day of a big biology exam by a sudden rain storm. To keep Emma's mother from getting suspicious, the girls use their powers to fake illness (Rikki gives them high temperatures and red blotches on their skin, before Emma gives them low temperatures), but their plan backfires when Emma's mother calls a doctor, who is convinced that the girls have a rare tropical disease, and wants to send them to a hospital.

Malaria for example can actually give fluctuations in the temperature and red rashed on the skin. It however doesn't develop that fast and it doesn't transmit from human to human so yeah she was very quick to judge. Dengue fever however you have to be very careful with, it's contagious and can cause some serious illness

Because they wanted to keep the archetype Dynamic, but had to spin it in a way that didn't feel like the new girl was a replacement for Emma. So they made Bella an amplified version of Cleo and made Cleo more like Emma.
