H2O - Just add water is about three teenage girls who can transform into mermaids.😮
After a night bath in a lake, everything is different and as soon as Cleo, Emma and Rikki come in contact with water, they transform and get a mermaid tail. After further experimentation, the girls also discover they have supernatural powers over water like boiling or freezing water. They try to keep their secret from everyone else which makes their everyday life anything but simple. 🧜♀️🌊

Can we all just take a second to appreciate that Cleo's Dad didn't even think of using his wish, even theoretically, to make his ex-wife come back? He respected her feelings and was willing to accept them even though it hurt.
I know it was just for casting and stuff, but I feel like it was really important that they showed how he handles that and was just trying to move forward with his daughters instead of dragging them through the divorce and hurting them and/or his ex in the process.

I'm so confused as to when this is all taking place. It's like early morning before the cafe is open, right? Why does it show Cleo at her house talking to her dad and little sister and even Lewis before he goes to the cafe. Like Cleo gets in the bath twice, it's gotta be at least 1 to 2pm by then. Is the cafe closed for the commercial? Why didn't Emma just tell Charlotte that? What time is it??? Why does it take them so long to contact Cleo??
And we see Charlotte's house in later episodes, she totally owns a blender why doesn't she make her own cranberry booster??
Why didn't Lewis wish for them to go back to yesterday, that way he'd still have his book?

i've always loved how this show tackled divorce and how it affects families. it's not as serious as in more mature movies like marriage story, but they do show everyday struggles that cleo, kim AND their dad have to deal with because of the divorce; and they talk about it in a way that kids can understand ❤️

Well they were just testing the first wish and then all the chaos at the cafe happened while Cleo was preoccupied with trying to grant her dad's wish. The book got lost, which is tragic because it could've helped them with so many things I am assuming. They probably don't remember the entire potion recipe by heart, so they can't make another batch to make that particular wish.

The only thing I hate in this episode and in the whole show is that they never use this knowledge again, I know they lost the book but is like it never happened, you know, the Cafe was ruined, and with a simple wish it disappeared, it's amazing, in Mako mermaids they always used magic in a different way than just powers, and now they know it's possible but they just don't even try, is kinda frustrating, IS SO COOL BUT FRUSTRATING.
