"Pick a god and pray!" "Now I'm angry!" "Time to tip the scales!" "So long, sucker!" "I can fight too!" "Adieu!" "Ya like dragons?!" "WHO WANT MORE GREGOR?!" "Wiiiiiide open!" "I say when it ends!" "Exeunt!" "GREEEEAT... AETHERRRR!" "To hell with you!" "I am inexorable!" "How well will you die?!" "For the Warren!" "Don't mess with the bunny!" "That's quite enough!" "Sold!" "I am your maker!" "Can't... control... hand!" "Begone, foul miscreation!"
I’ve started to play more Fire Emblem, and I’ve also started to see a lot more flaws in childhood games. But man, even with flaws there’s some games that are just good. They’re fun, really REALLY fun. Fire Emblem Awakening will be a favorite of mine for a long time.
True, I have replayed the game two times since the very first time it got released. And it stills holds up. I haven’t played any of the older games, but the newer ones just isn’t as good as Awakening. I highly recommend Unicorn Overlord on a different note. Idk, it feels like I am playing a game with the same kind of Awakening magic if that makes sense.
It actually doesn’t have that big of an audience, it may just be that its audience is extremely loyal. Great games btw, I highly recommend you check them out. It’s not for everyone but some of us really enjoy them.
Awakening is a great game to make a first touch with the series. Echoes is another good first entry, both were made with special amounts of dedication. Or you could also try Three Houses, the "mainstream" one that most people know about. Its not among my all time favourites but its still a great game too.
It's a niche. Awakening added a sort of easy mode that let's you play it like a jrpg, but the classic strategy playstyle is good but not mainstream compatible.
Nothing quite like staying up till 3am in morning while grinding for supports. And all while this gem is playing
I like this song.
Yeah it’s a really good song.
I like it too.

I this song so much it makes me cry 😢
I may have my issues with awakening, however the music was always top tier
It returned in Fire Emblem Fates.
I should play it 10 years ago if I knew when I was 15.
When I think Chrom, I think this theme.

I wish I knew what the deal with this series is. Seems to have a huge following, but I don't see much about it. Probably just unlucky.
They're strategy games. Awakening is my personal fav.

It's kind of Nintendo's dark horse

Great battle theme but ruined by crappy MIDI brass horns
