In Amsterdam and The Hague we say: 'geen ponem'(panim=face/sight)= "Not nice to look at'.
We still call Amsterdam "Mokum' (Makom=city) and you can order jajem (Yayin = wine).
In The Hague we say 'koude Jatte' ( koude handen/cold hands). Jad = hand.
We called 10 Guilders a 'Joet' (num. value of jota = 10)
And a 'Mijer' stood for 100 Guilders.
'Toffe gabber' means 'nice dude/friend' in Dutch. 'Gaver tov' in hebrew.
