- Wrexham AFC sealed BACK-TO-BACK promotions for the first time in their history! Not to mention doing it in style with a 6-0 victory over Forest Green Rovers! And we went to Wrexham to participate in the celebrations!
Formed in 1864, Wrexham is the oldest club in Wales and the third-oldest professional association football team in the WORLD.
Long suffering after years of mismanagement and neglect, they spent 15 years in the national league before Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over and which much thanks to coach Phil Parkinson. Now just 3 years on, they are in League 1 for the first time since 2005!
