My grandmother used to have this clock in her house. Her house was really big and fun. She sold her house 6 years ago and moved into a tiny apartment with 1 sitting room, 1 bedroom, and 1 bathroom built onto the back of my Aunt and Uncles house. Everytime I listen to this clock it makes me sad because it reminds me of when my grandma had this clock and her old house.
I just found a book at a thrift store with the same example sounds as this clock, i immediately recognized the recordings. This made me very nostalgic for my childhood, my dad had this same clock. Ohh man, memories 🙏❤️
I remember several of these now that I'm hearing them again, but I SUPER remember that first one. It popped into my head just now so I had to look it up and hear it again
Can you tell me where you purchased the stand that the clock is sitting on? Is it specifically designed as a stand for clocks? Or is it actually a photo stand that you are using as a stand for the clock?
Im not sure where i bought it. but i wouldn't use it for this clock because its tipsy due to the wight of it. you can probably get them at joans fabrics or michles
Actually I put brand name new batteries in the clock and Viola- the birds are chirping loud and clear!! I have a Christmas carol clock,too. It takes 4 AAA batteries and the melodies are bright and cheerful! Happy New Year 2022!

Actually I change the batteries when needed with ones from the Dollar Tree, cheap ones. Now I changed to Energizer and viola- chirp, chirp!
