Bald eagles being jerks, at Big Beef Creek, Seabeck, Washington, 28 May 2024

Despite the abundance of seafood available for the bald eagles on this stretch of beach at low tide, the bald eagles continue to chase each other for food. But much of the time they just act like jerks even though food isn't involved. Perhaps they are demonstrating dominance. Perhaps they are playing. Or, perhaps, they are just being jerks.
