Hi DIY Guy....is it possible to install Map navigation and reverse camera in the existing touch screen of RXS model? Because the salesperson in Renault showroom said that they need to replace the whole system with "Mapmyindia" system and alteration in exiting touch unit is not possible.
Hi Abhilash, no need to replace existing head unit which comes with your duster. If you want you can download online maps for mediaNAV but it's paid and even for updates you have to pay again. I would suggest to use mobile phone maps for navigation as they provide real time traffic information as well through internet and you have to pay nothing for updates....

Mehul Patel yes it can be done in kaid as well, both duster and khud had same head unit. Installations steps should be same. By default medianav installed in kwid has both rear speakers and reverse camera option locked, you need to unlock it.

i have duster 2015 rxz model medianav version 7.0.5 version do i need to downgrade and upgrade the s/w as per prarakasam videos or it works directly?
For medianav version plz contact Prakasam, current version on my medianav is 9.1.3.

I install the camera programming with diagnostic camera on. When put reverse, the screen change to camera mode but no image, I have black screen. What do you think?
Hi, Seems issue with camera or its VGA cable. If you are getting black screen that means medianav is getting signal to activate reverse camera but not getting video signal from camera.

Yes, both are getting signal from reverse gear light.

Dear Zober, My apologies for late reply as I was busy with my new job.
Please check if your car music system is compatible for reverse camera, if not you can order one from Ali express or any other site. Screen of that camera will be installed on rear view glass. Wiring will be almost same. For screen input power you can identify any fuse circuit which will provide power when ignition on and went off when it's down.
