Philippines isn't the only country in Asia that speaks fluent English, Singapore has a higher % of English speakers. Malaysia, India, and Hong Kong are the other countries that have more than 50% of its population speaking English.
No shit Singapore would have a higher percentage relatively since it's a small ahh country. Use your brain
We went to Malaysia and Singapore this month.. But we found alot of problems because they can not speak English well. But in the Philippine they spoke good English. ❤
Working here in Singapore for 7years, Singapore is a bilengual language, English is the primary.

Even if the percentage for Singapore is higher, Philippines still has a LARGER population than Singapore, which makes the Philippines have more people with fluent English speakers.
During the 70's most of the young peace corp volunteers live with us in the remote place north phils. and they're happy no such complaining.

People who don’t know about the Philippines don’t wanna go to Philippines. Yes there are slum places in Manila, because not everybody in Manila have good jobs and the government cannot support everybody. Manila is the most populated city. Filipinos are naturally friendly and kind, and we are family oriented. Love the Philippines.
