So true ! Aging is not simply wrinkled skin, even when people use botox to wipe out lines, you can still tell they're older. Looking youthful is not just about smooth skin. This was an informative and well - presented video!
Chandrika Das Thanks Chandrika. Very true, it goes beyond skin and it’s also about the tissue and it’s placement. Glad you found the video helpful

Thanks for this video, im a concept artist and this will help me draw people at every age.
This is such a unique and insightful video on aging!! Well done!! So much of this information is distributed through words or text throughout the internet but the way you explained and juxtaposed young and older made it really understandable! It sucks that there aren't more views as I would hope for a whole series on this! And with male examples too ;-)
Thank you so much for your comment! A lot of work goes into these videos as I love to show people what I’m talking about as much as I can rather than just talking. I will have more videos explaining the aging process with men on my next Sculptra video which will take a few months to do. Hope you subbed and turned on notifications so you can be notified when they drop 😊
Amazing video. I learned a lot!
Camilla Brandão I’m glad you liked it Camilla. Please feel free to share with others 🤗

Wow. I learned a lot
Thanks Kat 😉
This is so depressing😂😂😂
🤣. At least we have a lot more options now! Back in the day it was just looking aged until you were ready to get a facelift.
very information video
Thanks!
At 17 i shouldnt have to be worrying about looking old and having wrinkles but unfornately i do
I’m sorry to hear that it’s a worry. Why do you think you’re worried?
Well I already have little wrinkles on my forehead and under my eyes which are hollow. My skin is just dull and lackluster overall and with time it will probably only look worse but I will accept it for now atleast.
Nice video! Apparently there’s some vitamin you can take to reduce bone loss.
Really? Please do share! 🤗 Is it MK7? Glad you like the video!
@@NaturalInjector yes that’s the one I was reading about. Thoughts on it?
I am 20 but I look older for example older than 30
Thanks for sharing. Some people look older than their age
I'm the type of person that will accept the aging process gracefully. From the grey hairs to the wrinkles 👵🏽
Thanks for sharing Alyssa. Very brave to accept the aging process.
@@NaturalInjector Thank you :)

So...how do we stop this from happening?
You cannot stop facial aging but you can help restore the lost volume in order to help rejuvenate the face and you can also use Botox or other neuromodulators to help with wrinkles. There is a lot we can do and we didn’t have these choices before. Before you would just wait to turn 50 and get a facelift. Now we can maintain our youthful look with non-invasive treatments.
I really do wonder if estrogen Plays a big part in aging and women
Yes a lot of my female clients say they feel like they aged overnight when they hit menopause. When women go thru menopause and there is less estrogen it plays a part in bone loss also.
Estrogen playes a huge role in aging!
Who do we see? Is it a dermatologist for these fillers, etc?
Hi Jay. You do not have to see a Dermatologist. I would advise you see someone who specializes in cosmetic injectables. It could be a Derm, Plastic surgeon, PA, or Nurse. A dermatologist may do filler but how much are they doing it? Jack of all trades but master of none. If someone’s practice consists mainly of medical dermatology and they only dabble in doing filler on occasion then they’re probably not the most knowledgeable and experienced. I know plastic surgeons that do a lot of surgery and don’t do much injecting. Therefore they may not know how to manage and recognize a complication from fillers. The title of board certified Dermatologist or Plastic surgeon does not necessarily mean that person is experienced with injectables. There is no residency with injectables so it’s a bit of a “Wild West.” In the US you have to be either an RN, PA, NP, MD, or DO to inject. I would advise you to look at before and after photos and read up on the practitioner before choosing your injector. Find someone with years of experience.
If I could be one age forever it would be 25.
6:10 She honestly still looks the same age though, just some volume was added...
Thanks for your comment
You forgot about the muscles.
I’m not sure that our facial muscles contribute as much to aging as our bone, fat pads, and collagen/elastin
We lose 10% of our muscle mass every decade after 40. Wouldn’t that be of major concern since our face is full of muscle tissue?
@@agr8trip I don’t think it’s as much of a concern as the other things I mentioned. But probably definitely plays some part but don’t think it’s as big of an issue as losing the other things.
That's why you shouldn't get a fat buccal removal...
Some doctors stopped offering this as they feel in the long run it’s a bad choice. I think it depends on the patient and how much fat they remove.
