The whole ISFP-INFP sequence is like:
1. ISFP using Extroverted Sensing and just absorbs all the beauty around
2. meanwhile INFP using Introverted Sensing, says something like this moment will never happen again.
3. Both stuck in the Introverted Feeling, think that they made terrible mistake
4. Awkward Silence
lol ''both think that they made terrible mistake'', so true
I feel like observing their surroundings is better wording than âextroverted sensingâ after all theyâre both introverts, but one is observant the other intuitive.
@@drquantum583 ISFPs have extroverted sensing, it's one of their cognitive functions. Every personality type has both extroverted functions and introverted functions. The ISFPs functions are as follows:
1. Introverted Feeling
2. Extroverted Sensing
3. Introverted Intuition
4. Extroverted Thinking
The INFPs functions, however, are these:
1. Introverted Feeling
2. Extroverted Intuition
3. Introverted Sensing
4. Extroverted Thinking
They're each other's 'most similar type' because they both have Fi as their dominant function, which automatically gives them Te as their inferior function. They're different because their middle two functions are different. ISFP has Se and Ni, while INFP has Ne and Si.
@@josiahtaylor7967 I feel like the comments section is split between noobs who only have a very basic flawed understanding of MBTI based on the four letter codes only, and then the people who actually know the cognitive functions.

I was anticipating INFJ-INTJ to be discussing something deep, true, and philosophical only to end in complete silence and I'm glad I was wrong xD "plan around the paperwork" is beautiful.
It's just paperwork!
I thought ISFP x INFP were INFJ x INTJ, respectively.
Omg complete silence would be nice!

Hmmm I don't find myself to be at all similar to an INFJ...I find them to be frustrating...the logic goes out the window when decisions get made. I have deep feelings but momentary feelings just don't influence my decision making. INFJs seem capricious to me. I find myself most similar to an INTP but I'm an INTJ with almost completely pure INT character but only 60% J and as I age I think I am picking up INTP-like habits

The ISFPs I know in real life are generally sporty (rather than arty), quiet, down-to-earth and well-liked. They generally do what they say theyâre gonna do (âŠas an ENTP, I canât say Iâm the best at that), and theyâre very decisive and sure of their values. I really respect them for that.

As an INTJ, can confirm this one!
A good example of âstrategic procrastinationâ. INTJs procrastinate, but they plan it out.
Indeed
@@Powerlevelspy when I hear someone complain that they can plan beautiful schedule for a day but fails every time to follow it, my first question is: do you plan some breaks as well or is your schedule tight? đ you have to put in there also some space for yourself đ INTJs know this very well.
@@Jooney91 well I try to plan breaks, but often times I waste so much energy on the project that the break goes on for too long. It likely has to do with the fact that I often lack inspiration or motivation to do what I am working on.
@@Powerlevelspy of course, sometimes it takes more time than one plans. I am just saying that many people who want to follow schedule cannot actually plan it the way it is achievable. INTJs know they can get lost in their heads so we are more likely to plan breaks, too. And I know what you mean, I often have to come up with skeletons of my ideas first and sometimes it takes too much time to find the right approach. That's when I take a break or start to do something else instead.

Whenever I interact with an ENTP it either ends in hellfire and chaos because we didn't get along, OR it ends in hellfire and chaos because we got along TOO well. -ENFP
đ
Good
How can it be bad to get along too well? Do you hatch a plan for total world domination or something? What they say in the skit reminds me of discussions with my ENTP partner, who used to want humanity to find a cure for aging, basically immortality. I argued that living indefinitely was unethical using up more finite resources that future generations couldnât have, and would be really bad because it would widen the gap between rich and poor and between developed and developing nations even further. I argued that it would mean weâd either overpopulate the globe even more or have to stop reproducing, which would be bad for the species as it would stop us evolving, not only physically but socially (younger generations seem to always have more socially progressive views). I argued that if older generations didnât die, weâd remain frozen, unable to progress as a species. My other half used to believe people would care more about the future if they were going to be alive. I pointed out that living decades longer hadnât changed people for the better and they just consume more and concentrate wealth and power so the most unhealthily competitive donât have to suffer. (INTP)
@@bennaustin6632 I think she meant that it'll cause chaos for everyone around them. They're planning mischief for the fun of it, and everyone else is losing their mind

Suggestion : The sixteen personalities facing their worst fear.
As an INTJ, I am not sure what my worst fear is. Socializing? Or being surrounded by not one single competent person? Talking about my feelings? Those are good candidates. Actually I don't really fear those things, I just despite them. Not really frightened by much. Perhaps my biggest fear is that my future plans go off the rails and I'll end up with a life that I don't enjoy or want. Yes, that one sounds about right.
As an INFJ I fear being guilted into doing something I morally despise, yelling/fighting...or finding out that someone I love and trusted was just using me all along.
But also bridges, yeah bridges are scary đ
Yesss that's a good one!
ENFP: I think it's being left alone without a social circle/not having friends. That thought scares me

In reality, INTP is not thinking, but learning, consuming content, down an internet rabbit hole or laughing at memes or something equally unproductive, but good for triviaâŠor maybe trying to verify their type or looking into a new typing system or trying to work out if any are at all backed by any science (INTP)

Literally was thinking about it so recently, you put it into words so beautifully, it encompassed what we feel sufficiently. âšđâš
LMAO y do i relate as an intj ?
I've felt this all my life. Like a feeling of pensive longing, dreaming about some faraway place, or about peoples' lives or some unattainable imagined future, it's so difficult to put into words. I think I started to understand that vague yearning will never be truly fulfilled in the end, so I learned to just appreciate those brief moments as they happen for as long as they last.

My sister (INTJ) and I (INFJ) created an online art group together that's now become one of the more successful groups on the site we use. "A whole lot of thinking"
That INTJ-INFJ is so spot on. I love planning but has no to very little knowledge about the paperwork etc. To all young people please spend time for practical implementations of your plans.
The ENTP and ENFP should have been a philosophical discussion that led from one idea to the next. ENTP playing devil's advocate and ENFP with strong ideals about hope, love, etc.
this is perfect, i'm an enfp and haven't to my knowledge met an entp yet but i really want to now bc of convos exactly like you said
I'm an INFP and I literally do that with my INTP bf fleeting topics after topics promising to continue the next day. However, when the next day arrives we discuss something new or something we discussed 5 weeks ago with unchanged opinions and partial agreements.
But also, the ENTP playing the devil's advocate and the ENFP just listening with enormous interest and going along with them.
"Killing is kinda good sometimes"
"Why?"
"Well, you can kill off bad people"
"Ohh, true! And then the world will be filled with rainbows and sunshine. But like, who's gonna kill the last killer?"
"We won't need to, I'll be the benevolent dictator."
"Hm... Okay, but, can I be your propaganda minister then? I have a ton of ideas and the people are gonna love them!"
ENTP will argue in bad faith just to see ENFPs argumentative skills and ENFP will come up with increasingly stupid arguments that he backs up with equally dumb logic just for fun, both sides are trolling in their own way

I'm ENTJ and I have an ESTJ sister, when we talk about business and work it's exactly like this. lol đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
as an INTJ with INFJ parents, i can confirm that we have those kind of conversations đ We spend hours brainstorming theoretical business ideas that we never actually follow through with after putting in weeks of effort. itâs hilarious
I'm surprised the INTP didn't get stuck in a rut with the ISTP. "This whole world thing kind of sucks."
Honestly
Like complaining about the world? That seems more of an INFP thing, if we're talking generalities. Skipping out of social events to do what most interests them (fixing the motorcycle and thinking) is actually pretty fitting, which is a pleasant surprise considering we're talking about the portrayal of an INTP on Frank James's channel.
As an INTP myself, I can say with absolute certainty that I only have (mostly pessimistic) philosophical conversations (by that I mean complaining yes) with like-minded people over text. Otherwise Iâd try to end the conversation early because I hate being around humans.
@@rickrivers2021 INFPs, INTPs, ISTPs- Pretty much all of us IxxP types get stuck in a rut when we rely only on our savior functions. My bro-in-law is an ISTP, and I see him lost in resignation. Once he got married and had kids, it seems like a ball and chain was attached to his legs.
Ti-Ni loop for ISTP? doom and gloom happens but getting busy can help blocking the thoughts out momentarily.. but its always in my back weighing on me thats for sure
As an ENFP with an ENTP bestie, I can say that we have the most ADHD philosophical discussions that leaves our ENFJ friend scratching his head and our INFP friend purring contentedly as he engages his Ne now and then to throw in quips.
I have an entp brother and love how the discussions can start on geopolitics and end up at the benefits of warming up before a long run đ€Ł
I need an ENFP 9w1 friendđȘ---ENTP
This is too happened with me and my entp bro, he never listen to my story completely, and so do I đ we change topics every 5 minutes
Same, I've got two entp cousins and our conversations just bounce of each other.
"Discussions"? As an ENTP, every ENFP friend I've had just gets angry at those because they just want me to agree with them while refusing to give explanations for their point of view.
I LOVED the ENTJ x ESTJ integration, I feel like Iâve been waiting for that to happen for a lot time and feel entertained and satisfied that it did. đđ ENFJ btw
Edit: I am now ENTJ and this is as hilarious as ever

I actually feel sometimes that im an ENFJ, but when im on my nerves, i know i was wrong.
This is đŻ accurate this is how my mom and I interact. She is mostly estj i always wondered what our relationship was like now I know! đ
ISFP vs INFP is spot freaking on! Like Iâm the ISFP and I have an INFP and our conversations are always like this and she loves wearing black. This was way too accurate đ€Żđ
Man... My INFJ friend and I (INTJ) literally made business plans. And because of certain factors, we haven't finish nor implement them either. LOL I'm dying
I actually went clubbing with an ESFP and an ESTP once, it was every bit as terrifying as it sounds. Cops were really lenient though.

Plot Twist: They were the cops.
It's cause we fun đ

The ENFJ-ESFJ interaction is on spot. ESFJs embody the live, laugh, love bsđ. And of course, ENFJs unsolicited advice.
-INTP
You are so right. We ENFJs do give unsolicited advice. đ€ŠđŒââïž We mean well, butâŠIâm sure it drives people crazy. So sorry.
I adore how the ISFP and INFP were out in the nature! I do genuinely love nature for what it simply is and the life, oh the life... but as an INFP myself I can confirm that. Although I don't always say personal things out loud, that is how my mind feels time.. by memory and imagination on the future. Everything can take me back, and then I start wondering around đŹđ
As an INTJ I always feel related to ENTJs and INFJs. They really get me most of the times, itâs all about the absurdity and big picture thingy thatâs kinda hard to explain. We all also love making plans and backup plans lol! Sometimes we donât have to explain much to understand each other, which I believe is the beauty of communication between Intuitives. Learned a lot about directness from ENTJ and empathy from my INFJ ex. However, understanding INFJs can be harder because they âthinkâ with their hearts as opposed to us NTs, but the rest is pretty much similar to us.
Same here but sometimes I feel more relate to intp, entp, and entj- INTJ
as an infj i feel same way for INTJs. they're awesome
I oddly relate to INFPs as portrayed by Reddit and the channel _MBTI memes._
Same! But I feel I relate to the ENTJ more
I love to have the big picture and a back up plan for a back up plan lol đ

INFJ-INTJ is the best pairing ever
I'm an INFJ who married an INTJ. We match in almost every area except for where we don't. And wow... are we different where we don't match đ
I can attest to the truth of this statement (I'm an INFJ and my dad's an INTJ).
True :D
My only infj friend can never admit defit and he is quit narcisistic so i have to disagrea on that one
-INTJ
@trails I am an INTJ and my boyfriend is an INFJ and my best friend is an INFJ and they are both amazing relationships. It might depend on the maturity level of the parties involved, and whether they share similar interests. Someone with an INFJ type isn't identical to all other INFJs, and the same for any type. I have met INFJs I didn't care to get along with, too.
*ISFP shows up
Me: Maybe I'm that one, it could fit.
*INFP starts talking

Same! It was a nice subversion, INFP is usually in the pink shirt đ
ENFP's would not give up that easily on such a great question! đ
And ENTPs too, as an ENTP I could have come up with something more creative. I love history and so do the other 3 ENTPs Iâve met in my life
I agree!
Actually, as an Enfp, I would. The Answer of the Entp really took of all the enthusiasm I hadđ
Yeah, in general, giving up on an opportunity to talk about ourselves? Nah man
My husband is an ENFP. He says he identifies with both sides of this conversation.
ISFJ being super nice about ISTJ's bad movie suggestion is very on-brand for us. đ„° He's absolutely not going to watch that documentary on a date, but he's going to make darn sure that ISTJ knows he appreciates the attempt to help.
Of course, ISTJ knows the first few movies ISFJ would choose to watch on a date are either documentaries or mock-documentaries or else he wouldnât even suggest that documentary.
@@alsatusmd1A13 And the ISTJ doesn't even know what movie the lady friend is into so he just stick to what type of movie the ISFJ likes to watch.

@PestoMayo Thank you so much for taking the time to write this, it definitely helped! Hopefully I figure everything out.
I had two tests. One said that I'm an ISTP and one INTP. Now that I found out I am actually an INTP, I can still relate to both of them.
Stay off my property brother
I might be an INFP, but my dad raised me to be practical. In a moment like that, I would be more like "a moment like this will never come again, so I should make the most of it as long as it lasts". I know because I had one today that I will treasure forever :)
Finally, someone acknowledges that inferior Se that makes us (sadly) not as effective in our plans as we would like to be (INTJ).
Facts. Sometimes, I think our Te/Se sleep on the job. An INFJ will not push us to bring our plans into reality. If the skit was ENTJ/INTJ, maybe we would have seen that.
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT
As an INTJ, I must say that when plans are in my mind they seem perfect, but when I bring them into the real word I start to see little inconsistence that I haven't noticed.
And that's why I always have a plan B, C or D.
INFP trying not to laugh đ I loved the ENFJ/ESFJ too. That was spot on! đ However, as an INTJ with an INFJ mother, we definitely will take care of practical business tasks as needed (I DO have parent Te you remember). I'm an INTJ and my sister is an INFJ we could go on for hours talking about a certain topic and go on for weeks without talking. We live together in a small apartment and both well informed to our personal space and time. She's a studious type, an academic achiever and I'm not, but she likes to throw me random questions that she think she is not capable of answering. We have a distinct interest when it comes to an information we consider "interesting" she enjoy certain age of History while I enjoy whole various list of random documentary, I find it fascinating when one concept correlates another in a complete different time zone or even ground.
