Spring came in like a lion on the North Shore of Lake Superior this April, 2023. 65 mph gusts out of the North East produced 20+ foot waves on the Great Lake! Some of the biggest ones I have seen in 5 years of capturing storms on Gitchi Gummi.

@@tonecoughlinphotography I've shared your video with lots of friends from other states. Our Mother Superior is awesome, scary, and beautiful, all at the same time! My uncle was a lift bridge operator for the City of Duluth many years ago. He and the family lived on Park Point, open water out back, the bay in front. So many childhood memories...My whole family is from Superior and Duluth.
