Haven't played PC2 in ages, but T1 gave me flashbacks and I'm glad I moved onto iRacing now.
I like iracing but that's getting just as bad just lately.

This game makes a lot of people frustrated, but you make this game very fun! i like your channel
I sometimes have really weird things go on in the rain in this game. In a Ginetta GT5 race at Silverstone National, the car was perfectly fine on every part of the track except the backstretch. I had to do 15mph on the backstretch to keep the car from wandering off track. The AI had no such problem. Made for a very difficult race.
Had that at imola in a fr3.5 race, massive puddles that the ai sailed through but I had to slow right down for. I think the game doesn't have a realistic approach to how wet tracks change once cars are on track!
The dynamic rain is amazing but when the track starts drying and puddles form that’s when it becomes a joke unfortunately

Glad to see you back Ricky, hope you are well. Been playing a lot of ACC, AMS2 beta and still take RaceRoom for a spin regularly and try to reach my minimum race count in iRacing.
Yeah Formula A is no good at all. Formula Renault, and Indycar, are the best PC2 open wheelers imo. Still nice with a new RickyBrosh PC2 video :)

Glad your back doing PC2. Being on Xbox it's all I've got until ACC comes out that is. Totally agree about the Renault 3.5. A great car to drive
RF2 still holds top honours for me. There are a few cars in PC2 that I like but a lot that I hate. The VR in RF2 is excellent these days. The loading times are a little bit long but well worth the wait as the driving is spot on for my taste.

100% agree with you on the arguments about the formula A car being horrible, the turning feels so light and unresponsive and you more often then not have massive oversteer on exits, other than that this was a fun video and I enjoyed it, keep it up :)
This Game has a few Cars that are easy to control even with Gamepad.
Yeah it's quite odd how the F3.5 felt AMAZING yet the Formula A and C feel terrible suffering from oversteer and the FC car suffered from Oversteer AND understeer terribly, no matter what I did I could not tune that car to feel good and have an enjoyable race, even with the difficulty turned down it just wasn't fun to drive at all, but the F3.5 is amazing I always had fun in that car and before I got a wheel I played with it on controller and still had fun. The funny thing is Formula A and C were easier to drive on controller than the FFB wheel for me, idk why but it was.

I feel the Formula A cars are pretty decent to drive, definitely beats Gran Turismo’s Super Formula, and certainly beats how PC2 handling of the supercars which always have wheelspin and drive like rocket 🚀
What do you think about the Formula Renault 3.5 and Indycar? Imo those two are way better open wheelers than this
RickyBrosh Racing Haven’t driven the Indy much yet, but yes the Formula Renault 3.5 is more fun. I love how you can easily see the wheels lock up on those visually that’s just cool

PC2 is far superior. Forza isn't a simulator. It's daddy and sons arcade racing.

@@AriesUmbra I know the feeling. There's so much more options. I've even been able to start oval racing recently thanks to Nascar Racing 2003 and all the mods available for it. If you don't know NR2003 is the best nascar game out there and was succeeded by iracing. With all the mods available it still more than holds up today and it has ffb, which surprised me because 2003.
The Safety Car Nice to know, the pipe dream is to have a high irating and be able to compete in the top tiers of endurance events oooh and be able to drift the touges. I can't wait 🙃
What kinda pc did u get, any tips?
How much setup control (springs, dampers, tire pressure, and wing angles) do you have on these cars? If you keep going off into the kitty litter the stewards are going to give you the sticky finger. This race is looking very close to a SCCA regional club race.
Used base setup here just lowered the rear wing 2-3 clicks. Yeah i know, i was trying to keep it on the track, more practise required! :)
@@RickyBroshRacing That would be a joke. I raced various formula cars in the SCCA and unless I have control over spring rates,, bump/rebound and other factors you are just messing around. I learned very quickly that trying to drive someone else's setup was often a quick lap into the kitty litter or the track medical center. Do any of these races games off the F3 Dallara as a possible car?
I think Project Carss drives better than PC2.

Good question, ACC feels more connected to the road, more like iRacing. FFB is worse though in ACC. PC2 is pretty forgiving in terms of catching a slide. Graphics are good in ACC but not PC2 good. Rating system is way better in ACC but still not on iRacing level. Both sims do things better/worse than the other imo. Have you tried both?
Well, I’ve done a lot of amateur racing. Owned some fast cars as well. So I’m very picky with sim racing. I have tried both. I work in entertainment , and an editor that does a lot of my film edits is a sim racer. So, I’ve been fortunate to play ACC On his rig. I have Assetto Corsa on ps4 look forward to ACC . I would say ACC is a little more realistic as far as really feeling the car and giving you the impressions of feeling the G’s . I think project cars is a little slippery at times. I actually find ACC a little more forgiving with slides. If you have a good wheel project cars is not bad at this either. I think ACC has an edge when you really break down the GT3 cars. Both great games but can be very different. I think project cars 3 will have to improve on physics, and how they integrate along side with the control of the car.. I wish I had a pc would love to race with you.
Either the quality of the opposition is really bad or this car is impossible to drive. Oh wait he said they were doing 1:14s which is rubbish if it's really based on a 2014 F1. Bit unrealistic to judge a game playing against Rookies with 2 laps practice.
A combination of both imo, not sure what time would be good in this car around here, probably around 1.10 with a proper setup. I drove like shit but once it started raining it was hard, extremly hard
I'm glad the pc community is just as bad as the playstation 4 community you should see some of the videos I've posted if you want to face palm hard.

Assetto Corsa with the custom shaders patch and sol weather is excellent 👍 also Automobilista is a brilliant sim with a refreshingly different selection of tracks and cars .
Have to agree that all the "Formula" cars are rubbish. On the other hand the Lotus 72D and Lotus 78 are absolutely fantastic.

There is a lot of people on pc? Because on ps4 the game is dead the only lobby where there is a lot of people are the one with gt3 or gte and dont like driving these car everytime

@@RickyBroshRacing For me they made as SimBim better games. I loved GTR2. So I tried it very hard with Projectcars but somehow I couldn't get used to it. For me the most cars feel just wrong. So I decided to play asset to Corsa. I wish I could combine AC and Pc2. That would be a complete racing game in my eyes.
Project Cars 2 PS4, Dirt rally PC and Assetto Corsa PC, but i don´t like assetto too much. It doesn't feel good. The online is weird, there's only a few cars per server, and the menus isn't as clean as it is in project cars or dirt.
It feels clunky, like an old game.

This is the worst game of them all. I hated it couldn't drive that car to save my life just wont turn, loses grip way to easily. Ams2 is so much better!

@@RickyBroshRacing my hatred for pcars2 actually started with pcars1, it's a long story. I just found the drive model in pcars2 to be too unreasonable. Graphics and sound wise it was fantastic but when I couldn't drive my favorite car which is formula, well that just wasn't gonna work 🤔.
