One of the greatest storytellers of all time. He has a treasure trove of great music including his iconic Night Moves. He's one of the rare performers. Who is the actually better live. Get another great reaction from Sarah. Thank you so much.!
Glad you are doing more of Bob Seger's music. He is a great rock singer, songwriter & musician known for his raspy powerful voice. He had so many great songs especially in the 70's-80's such as "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", "Night Moves", "Still The Same", "Hollywood Nights", "Against The Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Shame On The Moon", "Like A Rock", "Shakedown", "We've Got Tonight", "Old Time Rock & Roll" etc.
My brother who just recently passed away, was a phenomenal musician and ran in the rock circles. He got to see Jimmy Hendrix, Zeppelin, Skynnrd, Rolling Stones, and others. He knew the Allman Brothers personally, and he told me a story about attending a rock concert. He was talking to some “long haired” guy he didn’t know. Said the guy was very nice and after a while said “It’s nice meeting you, but I’ve got to go”. He then walked on stage and it was Bob Seeger. He had no idea as Bob hadn’t make it big yet.😊
Thanks for this reaction Sarah, Bob Seger had some huge hits back in the day. Although this wasn't a major hit for him it was always my favourite Seger song, it still is. Cheers from Ontario, Canada!
Bob Seger & the Silver bullet band does not have a single song that would disappoint.Every single song they did are classic , too many to mention as it's the bands whole catalog of music has had much radio play and never gets old they just get better. I would Claim this band to be the best story telling rock & roll band ever.
This song is fire! Bob relates all the places he wasn't old enough to get into, so he had to watch the action from outside. The whole "Night Moves" albums is like a valentine to his youth. I was sixteen when this song came out and it was playing everywhere so it's a great memory of mine.
I love your videos. You are just a kind hearted person and it shows. My parents owned a pizza carryout place in Royal oak Michigan and Bob Segar came in for pizza quite often. He was a regular guy , very polite and he tipped good. We lost my father two years ago just last month, RIP dad. Whenever I hear this song it always reminds me of him.
This song reminds me of my first year(s) of senior high school (10th grade). The start of a good and healing period in my life that would last decades. I would listen to the radio as I was getting ready, and would hear this song.
I was introduced to Seger as a child. It is very sweet and touching to see someone who understands to experience music like this for the first time. really enjoying the videos :)
Night Moves was a great album. My best friend Steve and I were house sitting for our friend Gyro. Steve had just bought this album. Gyro had a great stereo from Japan with a turn table in his den. We really rocked out lol ❤
As deep as his music rabbit hole is this was my favorite. I finally got to see him on his Final Tour and it was 3 1/2 hours of AWESOME 😎 He had the biggest bass saxophone I've ever seen😲 but not this song. This is what music sounded like before everything turned into plastic.
Love his songs and music great preformer great reaction by you again thank you so much you so much for sharing your video video with us love it Sarah.🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
The actual street Seger sings about in this song is Ann Street, which was off of Main Street in Ann Arbor, Michigan. At age 12 or 13, he walked down the street and peered into a bar window, and saw a stripper he got a crush on.
You are making an assumption that the girl was a stripper. In the 60 and 70s a lot of clubs had girls who were called go-go dancers that did not strip . Back then in many places public nudity was illegal even in private clubs.
Hey Sarah! An Older cousin of mine Was in a blues band before he passed away earlier this year. I'm trying to get his name out because I feel like he deserved much more recognition. He wrote a song for his wife Rayma. She was the love of his life and she got cancer years ago and passed away. He wrote "Rayma's song" After she passed and I would love if you could react to it. It would be Rayma's song by Pete karnes blues band. I think you would like it. he was really good and travelled around the world playing with his band. Thank you!

Love this one also
I lone his music. The live version of this song might be my favorite tune ever.
So many memories....I remember walking down Main Street with the same thoughts in my mind.
YEAH RIGHT !
1973!!!!
Sarah, you should do ASMR videos!
He's singing from a kids perspective.
He was too young.
It wasn't love...it was a crush.
A hyper-sexual crush.
And his crush was a stripper.
Try Mother John Lennon
Nice reaction.
I always liked this song but it felt a wee bit “stalky” too.
hello, I am attaching you one channel M1noR, performed by a small benchmark who is very talented
